Chapter Seven
Arthur Baker smiled, "Wrong number, it wasn't an important call."
"Oh." Aurelia nodded, not paying much attention as she dried her hair with a large towel and walked over to Arthur's side, only to find him with his computer open, watching the company's stocks.
She sat quietly by his side, continuing to dry her hair. Arthur didn't offer to help, nor did he speak to her; rather, he kept his eyes glued to the computer screen, seemingly engrossed.
The air was filled with a strange atmosphere, unusually quiet.
Two people who just got married, shouldn't this be the time for sweet affection, sharing feelings?
Moreover, they should be resting by now.
It was already so late, shouldn't they be doing things that normal couples do?
But he sat there motionless, showing no intention of doing so.
Does she really have to remind him of such things?
