Just as she was puzzled, he arrived panting in front of her.
She stood up, and before she could begin asking, Kris Shaw pulled her into his embrace.
Her eyes widened in surprise, wanting to struggle, but he refused to let go. Instead, his arms tightened with fear she might disappear, wishing he could merge her into his body so she could never escape again...
Kris Shaw held her tightly under the gaze of all the students.
Lucy Greene's face flushed red as she hurriedly tried to push him away, but she heard him say, "Don't leave me. If you need time to think things over, I can give you time. If you've really forgotten everything, I'm willing to accompany you to slowly find them back. Even if we can't find them, it doesn't matter; I can give you brand new memories. No matter what you want to do, I can comply, but please don't suddenly leave me, okay?"
