The door opened, and he collapsed inward from outside.
Lucy Greene was startled and quickly stepped aside as Kris Shaw fell to the ground.
When she looked closely, she realized it was him.
Could it be that he waited at the door all night?
Why was this man so persistent?
Seeing him lying there motionless, a bad premonition rose in Lucy's heart, "Hey?"
"Hey!!"
"Sir?"
She called a few times, but there was no response.
His thick eyebrows slanted into his hair were tightly furrowed, as if burdened with an unsolvable worry.
His expression seemed very pained, his face incredibly pale, and there seemed to be sweat on his forehead. Could he be sick?
Lucy knelt down and placed her hand on his forehead to check the temperature.
The heat from his forehead was scalding to the touch!!
No wonder he was unconscious...
He must have a high fever and be delirious!
Lucy was anxious and shouted loudly, "Dad!! Jenny!!"
