Her eyes were filled with despair, yet her lips curled up, "Let go of me."
That kind of smile had a feeling of letting go of everything.
As if she had nothing left to live for...
Sofia felt she must have misheard. Her heart was clenched into a knot, she shook her head constantly, "No, I can't let go."
She absolutely could not release her grip.
Falling down would mean sinking into the sea, never to be found again...
Sofia fearfully tightened her grip, her eyes slightly reddened, "Lucy, stop saying foolish things, hold onto me, don't let go!!"
Lucy Greene laughed sorrowfully, tears slipping down from the corners of her eyes, "Actually, during the time I was friends with you, I really liked you. If there is another life, I truly want to be your best friend, just like you and Aurelia."
"It's possible in the future too, it doesn't have to be another life."
