Her words were like a knife, piercing the scars within Samantha Wood's heart, leaving her momentarily unable to respond. She could only avoid Sofia Hamilton's gaze, look elsewhere, and say, "There won't be anything between him and me anymore."

Sofia wanted to say more, but Samantha interrupted her, smiling, "You know what? The pizza I made recently is really good. Come on, let's go downstairs, I'll make some for you."
