Why does she feel like being pregnant makes her a national treasure?
Everyone is so cautious around her. All she can do is lie down every day, unable to do anything or go anywhere, staying at home obediently. Even if she wants to drink water, they insist she doesn't pour it herself, worried she might slip or accidentally burn herself.
The more cautious they are, the more stifled Sofia Hamilton feels.
She'd even prefer to do something, like sweeping the floor or wiping the table, or maybe taking a walk downstairs...
She still longs to go to work, to wander around, but it seems like those are all dreams.
"Hurry back and rest, come on, I'll help you back."
Lydia Mitchell says with a smile, holding her hand and guiding her back to the room.
Sofia Hamilton can't even express how bored she feels...
Back in the room, she obediently lies down again, thinking it might be good to play on her phone for a while or chat with Aurelia.
