Ryan Gregory's heart sank halfway down, and his mind went blank.
Especially when he rushed over, only to be late by a step, the feeling of loss was truly unbearable, it felt utterly terrible.
Yet he couldn't blame her...
Ryan Gregory tried hard to suppress the swelling feelings of loss and anger within, standing silent for a long moment before stepping forward to face her.
He took a deep breath, if this really was her decision, he could only accept it.
After all, she already gave him Lena and Wilson, she might be afraid of experiencing such pain again, he ought to understand her.
Ryan reached out to hold her shoulder, noticing her complexion was a bit pale, making him feel even worse inside.
"Does it hurt?"
He asked softly, realizing afterward that he asked a stupid question.
Ending the life of a child she carried, how could it not hurt?
She must feel worse than him.
