Chapter Eight
This feeling was too real, so real that she could almost sense the warmth and presence of the other.
And that faint yet incredibly fresh mint scent.
It was a particularly dangerous and brisk aroma, brimming with aggressiveness and an unusual force of oppression.
Sofia Hamilton's heart tightened.
She felt something wasn't right...
She closed her eyes to feel it, but he did not disappear.
In that instant, she opened her eyes in excitement and looked to her side, shock engulfing her as she saw Ryan Gregory sitting right next to her, actually holding her hand.
Tears instantly welled up, blurring her vision.
But she dared not blink, fearing that in just one blink he would be gone.
Is this real?
Or is she still dreaming?
Ryan Gregory gazed at her reddened eyes and dazed expression, his smile tinged with pain, "You don't recognize me?"
He raised an eyebrow, "I think I've just suffered some injuries, not a big change, right? You can't recognize me?"
