Adam spent quite a bit of time at the Citadel, where he not only rested and finished all his business, but also learned something new — the Detached Mountains were a pleasant surprise he hadn't expected.
Now, Adam knew how the stronger Phantoms ended up in the places they needed to be. The thought that every time after the Forgotten Mills, he would have to travel the same long way to some territory was difficult and problematic.
But, since Adam understood that there was no other way except the spires, he did not complain. At least that's what he thought until that moment.
