Chapter 263 - 1

(Musutafu, Japan)(Midoriya Apartment)

"A-are you sure you're alright honey?" Inko asked, looking at her son in concern. Reasonably so given how loud he had shrieked. Izuku could only nod, giving her a weak smile as he laughed nervously.

"S-sorry, I t-thought I saw a villain in the mirror." The Four Year said, making her sigh softly.

"Just sit still for a moment. I'll make you some breakfast." Inko said, forcing a smile which he returned. Once she was out of sight, Izuku sighed before looking forward with a blank expression.

He was Rukido Seito, a 32 Year Old Office Worker who reads Manga and watches Anime in Dub...that was about it when it came to his origin story. Being Isekaied into the My Hero Academia was not a normal thing that came with those types of Origins...well that was a lie. Isekai was common in Anime and Manga, but still.

The last thing he remembered...was getting hammered because his British friend who couldn't get drunk to begin with had decided to get him drunk instead. Other than that...he had no clue if he had even died. More importantly, if he did die, why was he Izuku Midoriya of all people? Wait, did he kill a kid?!

Memories had flooded in as he thought that. He was instantly annoyed with the face of Katsuki Bakugou coming up and the explosion that came right afterwards. Then came the day where he went to that quack of a Quirk Doctor that totally wasn't a Villain and got the news of him being Quirkless. After that came the natural born tears of Inko, crying alongside him for the fact that becoming a Hero wasn't possible without a Quirk to this society.

Ha! What a joke...that was his life now. As Izuku Midoriya or more famously, Deku. just what was he supposed to do now? Just continue as scripted? Deal with Katsuki's bull, inherit a Quirk that would break him, and fight a Villain who calls himself the Demon Lord? It would just be easier to try and live a normal life...right?

The Izuku in him disagreed, although meekly.

Rukido himself could only shift as he thought about it. He had merged with Izuku, that much was clear, and he was clearly the only one here. But that didn't mean he still didn't have his dream and oddly enough he could share it. Being an officer worker wasn't the worst depending on the company, but he has the opportunity of a lifetime to enjoy it. Besides, he liked helping people already, he'd just be doing it as a Superhero.

"Izuku, honey? You've been staring at your breakfast for a little long?" Izuku broke out of his internal monologue and greeted his mother with a bright smile.

"Sorry mommy, I was just thinking about being a Hero!" Izuku said, shocking Inko greatly.

"I-Izuku...I-I'm sorry for how I acted the other night." Anyone could tell that Inko was heartbroken and had hated herself for how she felt when it came to Izuku's dream. It had caused her to fall into a deep depression that needed to be prevented.

"It's okay mommy. I just have to try even harder when it comes to being a Hero!" Izuku said, giving her a cheery smile. "If I'm gonna be a Hero like All Might, then I just have to keep getting big and strong!"

"I-I know, but Izuku without a Quirk..." Inko tried to say, but felt her tears come up once more.

"It doesn't matter if I have one or not." Izuku said suddenly, making her gasp. He was looking fiercely, but his smile had remained as a spark could be seen within his eyes. It was so much better than the dead eyes she was given the night before. "I'll be a Hero so I can help as many people as I can. So that's what I'll train for. That's that."

"Izuku..." He looked so different than usual in her eyes. So much raw determination and energy ready to burst open. Not like he had been for the past few days. "I...I..."

Yet she couldn't say it. Not yet.

"Don't worry. I'll show everyone I can be a great Hero, even better than All Might." Izuku then suddenly hugged her. He then beamed up at her with the brightest smile imaginable. "But mommy will always be an even better Hero than All Might!"

Critical shot.

"I-IZUKU!" Inko had caught him in a glomp, hugging him tightly while bursting out in tears. Izuku laughed loudly, knowing she was actually happy while crying and clung to her.

Mostly out of fear of being caught in the famous Midoriya Flood.

(Later)

Izuku "Rukido" Midoriya looked at his computer, aggressively researching throughout history. He had already betted on this world being different from normal, he was reborn as Izuku Midoriya after all. He knew how the Manga ended for the most part and he'd be damned if he believed that he expected it all to be the same.

And he was right.

"U.A. is a University huh...neat." That actually made sense when you put logic to it. Granted you never should when it comes to Anime and Superheroes, but MHA had always raised those kinds of questions. "Let's see...Yup, Society is still messed up."

Such questions involving MHA normally resolve around it's society and it's more than questionable state. 200 Years of Quirks had fucked the Society of MHA by years. You would think that with all those powers coming to be, their world would be looking like the future. Instead he was 87% sure that the cars outside were still from the age of Quirks beginning.

No real advancements at all for Humanity, meaning they held themselves back for the longest time and never realized it. Nevermind the actual Hero Society itself, they got screwed the moment it all became commercialized bullshit with more Heroes caring about rank and money rather than their actual job. Nowadays it was just petty criminals, being jackasses with their Quirks and being considered Villains because it brought more attention and fame to the Hero catching them.

Bleh, he felt sick just thinking about this place. He was 'peaceful' in the false sense anyway. However when the likes of All for One decided to move, Japan just fell apart and the other countries were frozen with fear on what to do. Which meant relying on the High School students to get the job done. Useless fucking Heroes...was that just bad writing?

Well, it's not an excuse when you're in the world itself.

"If I'm gonna do this Hero thing, then I might as well try and change Society too while I'm at it." Oh that was a crazy sentence to say, but damn if it didn't sound worth it. All Might was already a good Hero, so he would have help...if they even met again. Bleh, not his concern at the moment, neither the whole society.

For now he was Izuku Midoriya, Age 4, in Kindergarten and Quirkless...with Katsuki Bakugou as a 'friend' to deal with.

'...Well, this is gonna be fun.' Izuku "Rukido" Midoriya was gonna come into this world swinging. And not just with his fist.
