Chapter 114 - "You chose a good place,"

Standing on the Hokage Mountain, Tobirama stared at the village that had grown so much in the past twenty years since he had died.

Even though the village had changed a lot, with tall buildings in different places and many buildings, he didn't remember being there.

"You chose a good place," Tobirama said with his voice full of emotion as he could talk while watching the village.

Kidou didn't say anything at his words and looked at his village with a flicker in his eyes. Since it was he who had worked quite a bit in the past three years, besides the bright and beautiful village they could, he could also see the Shadows and people working in shadows for the village.

"So, how did you two meet?" Tobirama asked, turning his head to Kidou, who smiled at his words.

"We met in Konoha Hospital when I went to join it, and she interviewed. She was surprised by my knowledge and views, and she asked me to become her assistant."

"We worked together, and then it changed into a relationship after we met Grandma."

Kidou gave a short summary and didn't tell most of the things. A strange look appeared on Tobirama's face since he wasn't expecting a normal meeting. He could feel that Kidou didn't tell everything, but he didn't ask since he didn't want to tell.

"You want to know about your students, right?"

Before Tobirama could ask more, Kidou said the words in his mind and Tobirama's expression turned serious.

"They are alive, but they can be killed anytime," Kidou said with a smile on his face, and his words stunned Tobirama.

"The only reason why they haven't been killed is because they are your students and grandma didn't want their lives to be good with death," Kidou said with a funny look on his face, and Tobirama froze as he remembered Mito's words.

"They are working their ass off with people keeping an eye on them, and one mistake gives them a punishment."

"Their clansmen, who enjoyed the wealth gained by the sacrifices of Senjus, are now working like slaves."

"Their clan have already disintegrated and merged with the village, like what you actually wanted from other clans in the village."

"Danzo, with Hiruzen's help started an organisation he owned but was called a department of ANBU. He kidnapped orphans, asked people from different clans under Hiruzen's order of ANBU and brainwashed them to be his tools."

"Placed seals on them that are worse than Hyuga Clan's seal, used them to do whatever he wanted and said that everything he did was for the village."

"The four villages decided to attack Uzushiogakure and massacre them after getting what they wanted. Hiruzen agreed tacitly, and didn't send any help."

"The barrier seals were released by him, and five Daimyos agreed with the attack because Uzushiogakure was better than them and had single rule."

"8,000 Shinobi, four Kages, Two Jinchuuriki. This was the army to massacre everyone in Uzushiogakure."

"There are many minor things but I won't be telling everything and you can take your time to find them."

Kidou said with a smile on his face but there was a chilling light in his eyes. With a snap of a finger, he could kill them all but making them suffer and letting them work as slaves with no privilege was the best punishment and reward for them.

Punishment: because they are against him, and reward: because they are doing everything for their village.

Tobirama bowed his head as he heard the words. The things mentioned by Kidou were enough to indicate to him how much his students had changed, and he understood why Mito said that he had really chosen good students.

"Where are they?" Tobirama asked with an expressionless look on his face, and Kidou looked at him. He waved his hand, and Mei, who was looking at various reports in her office, felt his call.

She put the paper on the table and disappeared from the office. Tobirama looked at the girl appearing beside them and he heard Kidou say, "Mei, take him to meet the K4."

Mei nodded at his words and asked, "Only meeting?"

"Let him do whatever he wants," Kidou said after thinking for a moment and he disappeared from the place while waving his hand.

"Follow me," Mei said with a calm look on her face, and Tobirama wondered if she didn't know who he was. He looked at Mei, who had already started to walk away, and he followed her.

On the other hand, Tsunade, who had brought Hashirama to a training ground, let him go.

"Was Grandma correct when she said that you killed yourself instead of dying because of injuries?"

Hashirama's expression changed as he heard the words. He opened his mouth to reply, but Tsunade asked another question.

"Did you really fight against four kages, eight Jinchuuriki, tens of thousands of shinobis, samurais and others?"

"When they lost, you let them go instead of taking revenge and chose to die because you noticed the fear they had against you after Madara?"

"Noticing that they were treating you as an enemy, and would start another war to eliminate you, so you chose to die and disband their temporary alliance?"

"How are you so fucking naive and stupid?"

Tsunade said with her voice raised, and Hashirama lowered his head at her words.

"The main reason is because I noticed something," Hashirama said with a serious look on his face, but he didn't look at Tsunade. Instead, he put his hands in front of him and said, "I noticed that there was something in me that wasn't me and was affecting me."

"It isn't that I didn't think about revenge, but I couldn't do it. Something always prevented me from crossing a certain well-defined line."

Tsunade's expression changed as she heard the words. She knew that her grandpa and Madara were reincarnations of Ashura and Indra, and when she thought of how Ashura was, she understood what Hashirama was talking about.

"It wasn't prominent when I was young, and I didn't think much back them. When Madara and I joined hands for peace, the feeling sublimated in my body, but when I killed Madara, something started to change."

"I noticed how my views and thoughts were getting influenced by something, and when I noticed that I didn't do anything to them when they attacked, I understood that I have already changed and been influenced by it."

"So, I decided to kill myself before I did even more stupid things, and it really hurt me when I looked at Tobirama and Mito's disappointed face."
