The world dissolved into white light, and when it cleared, Bai Shen found himself standing in the center of a massive stone arena, thousands of unfamiliar faces watching from stands looping endlessly around the battlefield.
Across from him, Kang Tae Min stood waiting, average height, plain looking, nothing outwardly special about him except a calm, calculating look in his eyes.
"Kang Tae Min," the man introduced himself, giving a small nod.
"Bai Shen." He returned the nod, sword already drawn, not bothering to settle into any particular stance since he wasnt exactly worried.
Ding! Match begins in 3... 2... 1... Fight!
Kang Tae Min moved first, faster then his plain appearance suggested, closing the distance in a blur that would've caught most fighters off gaurd.
