...
The match didn't start with a traditional lock up. Nikki charged forward, throwing a wild, heavy clothesline. Brie ducked it seamlessly, grabbing Nikki by the waist and executing a crisp, amateur style takedown, grounding her sister immediately.
"This is incredibly personal!" Cole noted. "These are sisters! They grew up together, they fought side by side for years, and now they are trying to tear each other apart over a deeply personal argument regarding Sandro!"
Brie transitioned into a tight front facelock, using her technical proficiency to keep Nikki on the mat. But Nikki used her superior physical strength to simply power out of the hold. She pushed Brie away, scrambled to her feet, and delivered a stiff knee strike to Brie's midsection.
Nikki followed up aggressively. She whipped Brie into the corner, charging in with a heavy clothesline that crushed the breath out of the champion. Nikki dragged Brie to the center of the ring, hitting a beautiful spinebuster and hooking the leg.
Brie kicked out at two.
"Nikki is fighting with pure aggression, just what she needed!" JBL observed. "She is letting everyone knew to not mess with her anger!"
"And Brie is staying calm and looking for counters," Lawler added.
Brie fought her way back into the match. When Nikki attempted a running bulldog, Brie shoved her away, sending Nikki crashing into the turnbuckles. Brie capitalized, hitting a running knee strike to Nikki's face and following it up with a top-rope missile dropkick that sent Nikki tumbling out of the ring to the floor.
The tension outside the ring instantly boiled over.
As Nikki hit the mats, Charlotte and Asuka took a step forward to check on the situation. AJ and Alexa immediately stepped in front of them, aggressively defending their partner.
"Back off!" AJ shouted, shoving Charlotte in the chest.
Charlotte didn't hesitate. She shoved AJ right back, and a secondary brawl instantly broke out on the ringside floor!
Alexa tackled Asuka, and the four women began fighting wildly near the announce desk.
The referee saw the chaos and immediately abandoned his position in the ring. He leaned through the ropes, screaming at the women to break it up, threatening to throw the match out completely.
Inside the ring, Brie was distracted by the fight on the floor. She took a step toward the ropes, yelling for Charlotte and Asuka to watch out.
Nikki had rolled back into the ring. She saw the referee distracted. She saw Brie looking away.
And she saw the Divas Championship.
The ringside technician had placed the title belt on the edge of the ring apron for safekeeping.
Nikki didn't grab the belt. She didn't try to use it as a weapon. Instead, she sprinted toward the corner, kicking the bottom rope violently, sending a vibration that knocked the Divas Championship off the apron. It clattered loudly onto the floor right in front of Brie.
Brie instinctively looked down at the sound of her championship hitting the ground.
It was a fatal, split second distraction.
Nikki lunged forward. She grabbed Brie from behind, hooking her arms, and hoisted the champion forcefully over her shoulders in a modified torture rack position.
Before Brie could even register what was happening, Nikki dropped to her knees, driving Brie with a devastating Rack Attack!
The referee, finally getting the brawl on the outside under control, turned back to the ring just in time to see Nikki hook the leg.
"ONE!"
"TWO!"
"THREE!"
*DING! DING! DING!*
The hip hop beat of Nikki's theme played, but it was drowned out by a massive chorus of boos from the Stamford crowd.
"She stole it!" Cole complained loudly. "Nikki Bella used the chaos on the outside and the distraction of the championship to steal a victory over her own sister!"
"That was incredibly smart!" JBL defended her instantly. "Nikki saw an opening and she took it! That is what winners do, Michael! She didn't break any rules, she just outsmarted the champion!"
AJ and Alexa slid into the ring, raising Nikki's arms in victory, celebrating the controversial win. On the mat, Brie was clutching her neck, slowly sitting up as Charlotte and Asuka entered the ring to check on her.
Brie looked up, locking eyes with her sister.
Nikki didn't look remorseful. She pointed down at the Divas Championship resting on the floor outside the ring, offering a cold, satisfied smile.
The broadcast moved relentlessly forward, leaving the bitter family drama of the Bella twins behind as the Stamford crowd buzzed with anticipation for the main event. The atmosphere in the arena had been on a razor's edge all night. Between Sandro's violent ambush with a sledgehammer and Bray Wyatt's chilling retaliation that left the God King motionless on the concrete floor, Monday Night RAW felt dangerous and unpredictable.
Now, the Wyatt Family was scheduled to step into the ring, fresh off their backstage assault.
"We are just moments away from our main event!" Cole announced, his voice practically shaking with adrenaline. "And considering what we saw happen in the backstage area earlier tonight, I don't think I have ever seen a more dangerous trio than the men about to walk down that aisle."
"I still can't believe Mick Foley is letting this match happen," JBL muttered angrily, crossing his arms at the desk. "Bray Wyatt just tried to end Sandro's career on the concrete! And Foley's response is to reward them with a main event slot against the tag team champions? It is a complete disgrace!"
"Foley said he is still investigating the situation, John," Lawler reminded him. "And let's be fair, Sandro struck first with a sledgehammer! But regardless of the politics, we have an incredible non title match ahead of us. The World Tag Team Champions are stepping into the den of wolves!"
Before the commentary team could debate the issue any further, a loud, tribal drumbeat pounded through the stadium speakers.
"SOOOUUU!"
The arena exploded into a massive, unified roar as the upbeat, high energy entrance music of The Usos hit the PA system. Jimmy and Jey burst through the curtain, moving with explosive, infectious energy. They stopped at the top of the ramp, dropping into a traditional Samoan Siva Tau war dance. The fans chanted along with every rhythmic strike of their chests, feeding off the undeniable charisma of the twin brothers.
They sprinted down the steel ramp, slapping high-fives with the fans in the front row, holding the gleaming World Tag Team Championships high in the air.
"Listen to this crowd!" Cole cheered as the brothers slid into the ring, climbing the opposite turnbuckles to raise their titles again. "Jimmy and Jey Uso have fought scratching and clawing to reach the top of the tag team division. They are fighting champions, they fear absolutely no one, and they are ready for a war tonight!"
"They are glorified cheerleaders, Michael," JBL scoffed, completely unimpressed. "They jump around, they pander to the fans, and they got lucky winning those titles. They aren't ready for the kind of violence the Wyatt Family brings to the table."
The brothers handed their championship belts to the referee, retreating to their corner, their smiles fading into looks of intense focus.
DEH.
The jarring sound of static cut the music dead. The bright arena lights violently shut off, plunging Stamford into total darkness.
The crowd immediately responded, pulling out their phones to illuminate the arena with a sea of thousands of digital fireflies. The slow, haunting acoustic guitar of Live in Fear echoed through the building.
A single amber flame flickered at the top of the stage. Bray Wyatt walked through the curtain, holding his rusted oil lantern, a dark, deeply satisfied smile playing across his bearded face. He had just left the God King broken on the concrete, and he looked completely unbothered by the chaos he had caused. Flanking him were the massive, terrifying frames of Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, wearing their dirty sheep masks, stepping in perfect, heavy rhythm with the music.
"Look at the calm on Bray's face," Lawler whispered, genuinely unsettled. "He doesn't look like a man worried about suspensions or fines. He looks like a man who just conquered the world."
The trio slowly walked down the ramp. A ringside crew member had already placed an old fashioned wooden rocking chair at the foot of the steel ramp. Bray stopped, sitting down heavily in the chair, resting the lantern on his knee. He looked up at the ring, rocking back and forth slowly, his eyes locked dead on the Tag Team Champions.
Harper and Rowan climbed onto the ring apron, peeling the sheep masks off their faces and tossing them to the floor. They stepped over the top rope, their dead eyes fixing on the Usos.
Bray raised the lantern to his lips and blew out the flame.
The arena lights snapped back on. The referee quickly checked the corners, making sure Jey Uso and Luke Harper were the official men to start, before signaling the timekeeper.
DING! DING! DING!
The main event was underway.
Jey Uso didn't hesitate. Knowing the massive size disadvantage he was facing, Jey relied on his blistering speed. He darted forward, ducking under a looping clothesline from Harper, and delivered a rapid succession of sharp, stinging chops to the big man's chest.
Smack! Smack! Smack!
Harper simply absorbed the blows, narrowing his eyes. He lunged forward, grabbing Jey by the throat, but Jey slipped free, bounded off the ropes, and connected with a flying forearm smash. Harper barely staggered. Jey hit the ropes again, ducking another clothesline, and delivered a leaping enzuigiri kick directly to the side of Harper's head.
The impact finally forced the giant down to one knee. Jey immediately scrambled to his corner, tagging in his brother.
Jimmy springboarded over the top rope, landing perfectly, and the brothers executed a flawless double team sequence. Jey hit a sweeping kick to Harper's legs, dropping him flat on the canvas, while Jimmy followed up instantly with a massive running elbow drop across the chest.
Jimmy hooked the leg, but Harper forcefully threw him off before the referee could even count to one.
"The Usos are utilizing incredible tag team chemistry!" Cole shouted. "They have to keep the pace fast and frantic if they want to survive!"
Harper rolled into his corner, tagging in Erick Rowan. The red bearded monster stepped over the top rope, his sheer size casting a shadow over Jimmy. Jimmy tried to rely on the same speed, throwing a series of heavy right hands, but Rowan didn't even flinch. Rowan grabbed Jimmy by the waist, lifting him effortlessly into the air, and threw him completely across the ring with a devastating fallaway slam!
Jimmy hit the mat hard, gasping for breath. Rowan calmly walked over, dragging Jimmy into the Wyatt corner, and tagged Harper back into the match.
The pacing of the contest immediately shifted. The fast, athletic flurries of the Usos were completely shut down, replaced by the slow, grueling, agonizing brutality of the Wyatt Family.
For the next eight minutes, Harper and Rowan systematically dismantled Jimmy Uso. They cut the ring in half, utilizing frequent tags to keep themselves fresh while inflicting maximum punishment. Harper delivered a brutal slingshot senton over the bottom rope, crushing Jimmy's ribs. Rowan locked in a vise like bear hug, squeezing the oxygen out of the champion's lungs.
Every time Jimmy tried to fight back, throwing desperate elbows or attempting to crawl toward his brother, one of the monsters dragged him violently back to the wrong side of the ring.
At the bottom of the ramp, Bray Wyatt rocked slowly in his wooden chair. He wasn't barking traditional managerial instructions. He was humming a low, off key tune, laughing quietly to himself as he watched his family tear the champion apart.
"This is hard to watch," Lawler noted, wincing as Harper delivered a stiff European uppercut that snapped Jimmy's head back. "Jimmy Uso is taking the beating of a lifetime. He needs to make a tag, or this match is over!"
"Nobody is coming to save him, King!" JBL laughed cruelly. "The Usos are getting exposed! They don't belong in the ring with real monsters! Look at Bray Wyatt! He is enjoying every single second of this!"
Inside the ring, Harper applied the Gator Roll, violently twisting Jimmy's neck and shoulders across the canvas before locking in a suffocating side headlock. The Stamford crowd began to rally, clapping their hands in a rhythmic beat, desperately trying to give Jimmy the energy to survive.
"USOS! USOS! USOS!"
Jimmy fed off the energy of the crowd. He slowly pushed himself up to one knee, then to his feet, throwing heavy elbows into Harper's ribs to break the hold. Harper stumbled backward but quickly rebounded off the ropes, swinging a massive big boot.
Jimmy slid underneath the boot. He popped up, grabbed Harper around the neck, and planted him face first into the canvas with a desperation swinging neckbreaker!
Both men lay flat on the mat. The referee began the ten count.
"This is his chance!" Cole yelled, standing up at the desk. "Jimmy is crawling! He just has to reach his brother!"
Jimmy dragged his battered body across the ring, inching closer and closer. Jey was leaning as far over the top rope as he physically could, his hand outstretched, screaming for his twin. Harper was doing the exact same, reaching toward Rowan.
Both men lunged forward at the same time.
Tag!
Tag!
Jey Uso exploded into the ring like a ball of pure fire. Rowan stepped through the ropes, but Jey was moving too fast. Jey ducked a heavy right hand, hit the ropes, and delivered a flying clothesline. Rowan didn't drop. Jey hit the ropes again, hitting a second flying clothesline. Rowan stumbled. Jey let out a fierce Samoan war cry, hit the ropes a third time, and launched himself into a spectacular spinning heel kick that finally knocked the giant off his feet!
The crowd went completely wild.
Harper charged into the ring illegally to stop the momentum. Jey ducked his swing, delivered a brutal superkick to Harper's gut, and scooped the massive 275 pounder onto his shoulders, executing an unbelievable Samoan Drop!
"Jey Uso is cleaning house!" Lawler shrieked in excitement. "The sheer strength to lift Luke Harper like that!"
Rowan staggered to his feet in the corner. Jey saw him, charged across the ring, and delivered a crushing running hip attack directly to Rowan's face!
Jey hooked the leg, hooking it deep.
"ONE!"
"TWO!"
"NO!"
Rowan kicked out with so much force that Jey was thrown halfway across the ring.
The match instantly devolved into a chaotic, breathless war. The referee lost all control as all four men began brawling inside the ring. Jimmy Uso, having caught his breath, jumped back into the fray. He threw a superkick at Harper, sending the giant tumbling over the top rope and crashing down to the ringside floor.
Jey grabbed Rowan, throwing a barrage of right hands, but Rowan overpowered him, tossing Jey out of the ring to the opposite side.
The action spilled entirely to the outside. The referee began a frantic ten-count, but the competitors ignored him completely.
On the outside, Jimmy and Rowan, the two non legal men, collided in a brutal fistfight near the barricade. Rowan threw a heavy right hand, but Jimmy ducked, grabbed Rowan by the beard, and drove his skull directly into the heavy steel ring post! Rowan staggered, dazed. Jimmy didn't stop. He sprinted, leaped onto the security barricade, and launched himself backward, wiping Rowan out with a spectacular moonsault right into the front row!
"Bodies are flying everywhere!" Cole yelled over the deafening crowd. "This is an absolute war!"
On the other side of the ring, Jey Uso was trading stiff blows with Luke Harper. Jey hit a sharp enzuigiri kick, forcing Harper to lean heavily against the announce desk. Jey scrambled back into the ring. He hit the opposite ropes, building terrifying speed. He launched his body completely over the top rope, soaring through the air like a missile, and crashed into Harper with a breathtaking suicide dive!
Both men crumpled violently into the barricade.
"This is awesome! This is awesome!" the Stamford crowd chanted loudly, recognizing the instant classic unfolding before their eyes.
"These four men are giving everything they have!" Lawler cheered. "It is pure chaos out here!"
"They are fighting like animals in the dirt!" JBL sneered. "There is no structure to this!"
Jey dragged Harper to his feet, rolling the massive legal man back under the bottom rope. Jey slid in right behind him, climbing quickly to the top turnbuckle. He waited for Harper to stagger up to his feet. Jey leaped, executing a beautiful flying crossbody block!
He hooked both legs tightly!
"ONE!"
"TWO!"
"THRE—NOOOOO!"
Harper thrust his shoulder off the canvas at the absolute last microsecond! The crowd gasped, hands on their heads, having completely bought into the near fall.
Jey ran his hands over his face, frustration bleeding through his focused expression. He backed into the corner, slapping the turnbuckle, signaling for his brother. Jimmy had finally recovered from the outside brawl, sliding into the ring.
The Usos stood side by side in the corner, tuning up for a double superkick. Harper slowly pushed himself up to his knees, staring blankly at the brothers.
They lunged forward simultaneously.
CRACK!
A perfectly synchronized double superkick caught Harper flush under the chin!
Harper collapsed flat onto his back.
The crowd knew exactly what was coming next. Jimmy climbed the top turnbuckle on the left side of the ring. Jey climbed the top turnbuckle on the right side. They were going for the double *Uso Splash*.
It was the ultimate kill shot. The match was essentially over.
But down at the foot of the ramp, Bray Wyatt stopped rocking.
He slowly stood up from his wooden chair. He walked deliberately toward the ring, climbing up the steel steps, and stepped onto the ring apron. He didn't enter the ring. He simply stood on the edge of the apron, staring dead eyed at Jimmy Uso, a cold, empty smile on his face.
The distraction worked perfectly. Jimmy paused his ascent, looking down at the cult leader, furious at the interference. Jimmy jumped down from the top turnbuckle, charging across the ring to punch Bray off the apron.
But as Jimmy reached the ropes, a massive hand reached up from the ringside floor. Erick Rowan had recovered. He grabbed Jimmy by the throat from the outside, utilizing his immense height. With terrifying power, Rowan lifted Jimmy completely over the top rope, dragging him out into the air, and slammed him down onto the unforgiving ringside floor with a devastating, bone shattering Iron Claw Slam!
