...
"Ladies and gentlemen," Foley announced, his voice booming. "Please welcome the newest addition to the Monday Night RAW roster!" The arena lights suddenly shifted to a vibrant, pulsating blend of pink and green. An aggressive, heavy drumbeat hit the sound system. The hardcore wrestling fans in the audience instantly recognized the presentation. The reaction began as a murmur and rapidly escalated into a massive, deafening roar of absolute shock and excitement!
"No way!" Cole shrieked at the desk. "Listen to this crowd! It's her!"
Stepping out from behind the curtain, wearing a beautifully intricate, colorful kimono and an eerie, smiling Noh mask, was the Empress of Tomorrow.
Asuka had arrived on Monday Night RAW.
She walked down the ramp with a mesmerizing, confident swagger, completely ignoring the stunned expressions of AJ, Nikki, and Alexa in the ring.
"Asuka is here!" Lawler cheered happily. "The inaugural NXT Women's Champion! The longest reigning champion in that brand's history! The undefeated NXT Women Champion in her win streak! She vacated the title to come to the main roster, and Foley just unleashed her!"
"This is completely unfair!" JBL complained loudly. "AJ, Nikki, and Alexa didn't prepare for Asuka! She's an absolute buzzsaw! Foley is setting them up for failure just to punish Sandro!"
"They brought this on themselves, John!" Cole argued. "They took out Natalya with a steel chair!"
Asuka climbed the steel steps, stepping gracefully through the ropes. She slowly removed the mask, revealing her brightly colored hair and a look of fierce, unyielding intensity. She slipped out of the kimono, revealing her vibrant wrestling attire underneath.
She turned to Charlotte and Brie, shaking their hands respectfully.
Then, Asuka turned toward Brie Bella. Slowly, deliberately, Asuka tapped the center plate of the Divas Championship resting on Brie's shoulder. She offered a polite, but deeply competitive smile, making her ultimate goal on the main roster crystal clear. Brie understood the message perfectly, nodding with a serious expression.
Asuka turned her attention to the opposite corner. She stared at AJ, Nikki, and Alexa, raising her chin defiantly.
The tension in the ring was palpable.
The referee checked on Natalya, confirming she was being helped to the back by medical staff, officially making Asuka her replacement. He checked both corners, ensured the ring was clear, and signaled for the bell.
DING! DING! DING!
The match started with a chaotic, frenetic pace. AJ, Nikki, and Alexa utilized their established chemistry, relying on quick tags, aggressive speed, and their numbers advantage. They isolated Brie Bella early, keeping the champion trapped in their corner with a series of stiff kicks and double-team maneuvers.
Charlotte eventually managed to secure a hot tag, rushing in and using her incredible athleticism to clear the ring, hitting Nikki with a beautiful moonsault and catching Alexa with a heavy big boot. But AJ used her opportunistic tactics, raking Charlotte's eyes while the referee was distracted, allowing her team to regain control.
The match swung back and forth, both teams securing believable near falls that kept the crowd deeply invested.
But around the twelve minute mark, the entire dynamic of the match changed.
Charlotte desperately dove across the ring, slapping Asuka's outstretched hand.
The Empress of Tomorrow entered the ring like a hurricane. Nikki charged at her, but Asuka ducked, unleashing a blistering, rapid fire combination of stiff backhands and spinning kicks that echoed loudly through the arena. The sheer speed and unorthodox nature of her offense completely overwhelmed Nikki.
Alexa tried to intervene, jumping off the top rope, but Asuka caught her out of mid air, transitioning seamlessly into a rolling kneebar!
Alexa screamed in pain, desperately grabbing the ropes to force a break.
AJ slid in, attempting a Shining Wizard, but Asuka sidestepped with terrifying precision, catching AJ in a German suplex that folded her in half!
"Asuka is a one woman wrecking crew!" Cole shouted. "Nobody on the main roster wrestles like this! She is an absolute striking machine!"
The match devolved into a chaotic six woman brawl. Charlotte hit Alexa with a spear. AJ hit Charlotte with a Black Widow submission, only for Brie to break it up with a missile dropkick.
In the center of the ring, Nikki Bella and Asuka were the legal women.
Nikki relied on her physical power, catching Asuka with a heavy spinebuster. Nikki hooked the leg, but Asuka kicked out at two. Nikki hauled her up, looking for the Rack Attack to end the match.
But as Nikki lifted her, Asuka slipped beautifully down her back. With lightning fast grappling precision, Asuka wrapped her legs around Nikki's waist, pulled her to the canvas, and locked in the devastating Asuka Lock!
The crowd erupted!
Nikki gasped in pain, her eyes wide as Asuka applied agonizing pressure to her neck and shoulders. Nikki reached desperately toward her corner. AJ and Alexa stretched as far as they could over the ropes, their fingertips mere inches away from their partner.
But Charlotte and Brie pulled AJ and Alexa off the ring apron, neutralizing them on the floor!
With nowhere to go and the pain becoming unbearable, Nikki slapped her hand against the canvas, tapping out!
DING! DING! DING!
"She tapped! Nikki tapped out!" Cole cheered. "Asuka just secured the victory in her very first match on Monday Night RAW and continue her undefeated streak in WWE!"
Charlotte and Brie slid into the ring, raising Asuka's arms in victory. The Empress of Tomorrow remained remarkably composed, acknowledging the crowd with a respectful bow. AJ and Alexa quickly pulled a defeated Nikki out of the ring, glaring furiously at the victorious trio.
Before leaving the ring, Asuka cast one final, lingering look at the Divas Championship around Brie's waist, cementing her status as the newest, most dangerous threat in the women's division.
Following the explosive debut of Asuka, Monday Night RAW allowed the audience to catch their breath with a pair of highly competitive mid card matches and a backstage interview featuring the United States Champion, Drew McIntyre, who said how his' dominance as the US Champ aren't going to over.
But as the final segment of the three hour broadcast approached, a heavy, electric tension settled back over the Oklahoma City arena.
The time for the main event had arrived.
The upbeat, energetic horns of My Time is Now hit the PA system, followed immediately by the electric guitar riff of I'm Here to Show the World.
The crowd erupted in a massive, unified cheer as John Cena and Dolph Ziggler stepped out from behind the curtain together. The two men walked down the ramp side by side. Ziggler moved with the fierce, undeniable confidence he had built over the last several weeks, fully recovered and ready for a fight. Cena remained intensely focused, his jaw set, eager to finally get his hands on the man who had attacked him from the shadows.
They slid into the ring, taking their positions in the corner, staring intently at the entrance stage.
The lights shifted to a cold, pale yellow.
The methodical, unsettling bassline of Voices echoed through the building.
The cheers instantly died, replaced by a deafening, hostile roar of boos.
Randy Orton emerged onto the stage. The Apex Predator didn't look angry about the handicap situation. He didn't look intimidated by the odds. He wore a mask of cold, unfeeling stone, his eyes locked dead on the two men waiting for him in the ring.
Orton walked slowly down the long steel ramp, completely ignoring the venomous insults raining down from the fans. He climbed the steel steps, ducking smoothly through the ropes, and walked to the dead center of the ring.
He didn't retreat to his corner. He stood his ground, staring across the canvas at Cena and Ziggler, a dark, calculating predator preparing to go to war against two of the most resilient fighters on the roster.
The referee moved to the center of the ring, checking all three men, ensuring everyone was ready. He looked at the timekeeper, took a deep breath, and raised his hand into the air, before the referee's hand dropped to signal the bell.
DING! DING! DING!
The bell echoed through the Ford Center, but the sound was almost completely swallowed by the deafening roar of the Oklahoma City crowd.
Randy Orton stood perfectly still in the center of the ring. He did not retreat to his corner, nor did he enter a traditional fighting stance. He simply rolled his neck, his cold, calculating eyes shifting back and forth between John Cena and Dolph Ziggler.
Ziggler stepped forward first. He reached back and tapped Cena's chest, silently communicating that he wanted the first piece of the Apex Predator. Cena nodded respectfully, stepping through the ropes to stand on the ring apron, grabbing the tag rope and keeping a close watch on his partner.
"Here we go," Cole said, his voice buzzing with anticipation. "Dolph Ziggler is stepping right up to the plate. After what Randy Orton did to him two weeks ago, Ziggler wants retribution, and he wants to deliver it with his own two hands!"
"That's exactly what he should do, Michael!" Lawler cheered. "Ziggler has completely reinvented himself. He is a man on a mission, and he has a point to prove tonight!"
"He has nothing to prove because he's already a failure," JBL fired back, a sneer evident in his voice. "Look at him! Ziggler is just desperately hightailing it to the God King's shadow, hoping that if he acts tough, some of Sandro's relevance will magically rub off on him. And as for Cena? John Cena is a failed franchise trying to be relevant again. He can't handle the fact that the spotlight moved on, so he has to insert himself into other people's business. Orton is going to expose both of them tonight."
Ziggler didn't wait for Orton to make the first move. Operating on pure, unfiltered adrenaline, the Showoff lunged forward, shooting for a double-leg takedown. Orton reacted with veteran instincts, sprawling backward and locking his arms around Ziggler's waist.
The two men grappled intensely on the mat. Ziggler used his decorated amateur wrestling background, spinning out of Orton's grasp and transitioning smoothly into a tight side headlock. He wrenched his arm around the Viper's neck, applying maximum pressure. Orton grimaced, shifting his weight, and quickly shoved Ziggler toward the ropes.
Ziggler rebounded off the cables with blinding speed. Orton dropped to the canvas, looking for a leapfrog, but Ziggler stopped his momentum dead in its tracks, caught Orton by the hair as he stood up, and drove him face first into the mat with a snapping leaping facebuster!
The crowd popped huge for the early offense. Orton scrambled to his feet, clutching his nose, only to be met with a lightning fast standing dropkick that caught him flush on the jaw.
Orton stumbled backward, tumbling over the top rope and landing on his feet on the outside floor. He leaned against the barricade, a look of genuine irritation crossing his stoic features.
"Incredible start for Dolph Ziggler!" Cole praised. "He is using his speed to keep Randy Orton completely off balance!"
"Orton just needs a minute to recalibrate," JBL noted, watching the Viper pace along the ringside mats. "He is the smartest predator in the jungle. He knows he is at a numbers disadvantage, so he is going to dictate the pace."
Inside the ring, Ziggler played to the crowd, pumping his fists as the fans chanted his name. He walked over to his corner and slapped Cena's outstretched hand. The arena erupted all over again as John Cena stepped through the ropes.
Cena walked to the center of the ring, staring down at Orton on the floor. He waved his hand in front of his face, challenging the Viper to get back inside.
Orton took his time. He walked up the steel steps slowly, wiping a bead of sweat from his forehead, and slipped between the ropes. He circled Cena, his eyes narrowed into dangerous slits.
They locked up in the center of the ring. A true clash of titans.
Cena overpowered Orton immediately, backing the Viper into the corner. The referee stepped between them, calling for a clean break. Cena raised his hands, taking a step back to comply.
In a flash, Orton exploited the opening. He shot a vicious thumb directly into Cena's left eye, blinded from the referee's vantage point. Cena yelled out, grabbing his face, and Orton capitalized instantly. He delivered a heavy, bare knuckle right hand that dropped Cena to one knee.
"Cheap shot from the Viper!" Lawler complained. "He knows he can't match Cena's raw strength, so he resorts to breaking the rules!"
"It's a handicap match, King! There are no rules for survival!" JBL argued. "Orton is a ruthless snake, yes, but he's the only real main eventer in that ring right now. He does what it takes."
Orton grabbed Cena by the back of the neck, dragging him to his feet. He threw Cena into the ropes and lowered his head for a back body drop. But Cena put the brakes on, grabbed Orton, and threw a heavy right hand of his own. Orton staggered. Cena hit the ropes and delivered a massive running shoulder tackle. Orton popped back up, only to be met with a second flying shoulder tackle.
The Oklahoma City crowd roared, recognizing the legendary sequence.
Orton threw a wild clothesline, but Cena ducked it, caught Orton around the waist, and planted him with a twisting belly to back suplex!
Cena stood over Orton, raising his hand into the air. He looked out at the roaring crowd, bounced off the ropes, and brushed his shoulder off, preparing to drop the Five Knuckle Shuffle.
But as Cena leaned over, Orton exploded from the canvas. He didn't try to counter with a wrestling move, he simply thrust his heavy wrestling boot upward, catching Cena squarely in the jaw. The impact snapped Cena's head back, and the franchise player stumbled backward into the ropes.
Orton quickly rolled out of the ring to escape the danger zone. He stood near the announce desk, clutching his back, his chest heaving.
Cena wasn't going to let him recover. He slid out of the ring right behind Orton.
"The fight is spilling to the floor!" Cole yelled as Cena charged around the ring post.
Orton saw him coming. As Cena closed the distance, Orton grabbed a heavy steel chair from the timekeeper's area. He didn't swing it, that would cause a disqualification. Instead, he dropped the chair right in Cena's path. Cena stepped on the steel, twisting his ankle slightly and losing his balance.
Orton lunged forward, grabbing Cena by the back of the head, and forcefully drove Cena's skull straight into the unforgiving steel ring post!
The sickening thud echoed through the front rows. Cena collapsed like a sack of bricks, clutching his forehead.
"Good god!" Lawler yelled. "Cena just got his block knocked off!"
Ziggler saw his partner go down and immediately rushed to help. He slid out of the ring, sprinting toward Orton. But the Apex Predator was operating at a terrifying level of awareness. He caught Ziggler mid sprint, wrapping his arms around the Showoff's waist, and delivered a devastating, high angle belly to belly suplex that launched Ziggler completely over the security barricade and into the first row of fans!
"Orton is taking apart a two on one advantage all by himself!" JBL laughed proudly. "This is a masterclass in ring psychology! He isolated the threat and neutralized it!"
Orton stood on the ringside mats, a cold, sadistic smile playing on his lips. He walked over to the unconscious John Cena. He dragged Cena to his feet by his brightly colored t-shirt, hauled him over to the steel ring steps, and violently slammed Cena's lower back against the sharp metal edge. Cena cried out in agony, his spine bowing unnaturally against the steel.
The referee was leaning through the ropes, aggressively counting to ten, trying to regain control of the match.
Orton casually rolled Cena under the bottom rope, breaking the count. He then climbed onto the apron, looking out at the wreckage in the crowd where Ziggler was just beginning to stir among the fans. Satisfied that Ziggler was temporarily out of the equation, Orton stepped back into the ring to focus on Cena.
Orton dropped to the mat, wrapping his forearm tightly around Cena's throat in a suffocating reverse chinlock. He grapevined his legs around Cena's midsection, pressing his body weight down, systematically draining the oxygen from Cena's lungs.
"This is exactly where Randy Orton thrives," Cole analyzed, his voice tight with concern. "He slows the pace down to a crawl. He makes it methodical. He makes it painful."
For the next five minutes, Orton put on a clinic of absolute brutality. Every time Cena fought his way to his feet, feeding off the energy of the crowd, Orton found a way to cut him down. A knee to the gut. A stiff European uppercut. A devastating snap DDT.
Cena was gasping for air, sweat pouring down his face. Orton began to stalk him, delivering his signature Garvin Stomps. A heavy boot to the right ankle. A stomp to the left knee. A crushing blow to the ribs. And finally, a sickening stomp directly to the side of Cena's head.
"He is picking Cena apart piece by piece," Lawler said, wincing at the display. "Cena has taken a massive amount of punishment here."
"Because he is old news, King!" JBL reiterated, hammering his point home. "Cena's time is up! Orton is carving a path of destruction, and nobody is safe!"
On the ring apron, Dolph Ziggler had finally dragged himself back into position. He was clutching his ribs from the barricade bump, but he reached his hand over the top rope, screaming for Cena to make the tag.
*LET'S GO CENA! CENA SUCKS!*
The polarizing chants filled the Ford Center. Cena slowly pushed himself up to his hands and knees. Orton stood behind him, waiting patiently. As Cena staggered to a vertical base, Orton spun him around, looking for a devastating backbreaker.
But Cena found a reserve of strength. He blocked Orton's arm, threw two heavy right hands to Orton's jaw, and pushed the Viper away. With one final, desperate burst of energy, Cena lunged across the ring and slapped Ziggler's hand, The crowd erupted into a massive cheer as Ziggler vaulted over the top rope, fresh and firing on all cylinders. Orton swung a wild clothesline, but Ziggler ducked it, bounded off the ropes, and connected with a beautiful flying forearm smash!
