Chapter 376 - 1

Chapter 1: Page 1: world collide

Within the endless space of the cosmos, there are an infinite number of worlds—each one unique and alive in its own way.

Some where pirates roam the seas chasing after a treasure that can change everything, welding mystic fruits that allows them to harness power beyond imagination. Others are realms where spirits called shinigami hold silent wars against creatures called hollows to bring balance between their worlds. And beyond them all lies something greater. Worlds that branch off from the original, spending across existence like a spider weaving its webs. That endless web is called the Multiverse.

But even in a multiverse there is something even greater than that. Beyond it is something called the omniverse—a space where every choice, every conflict, every location, every life, and every reality that can exist, does. It is where everything has happened, will happen, and might all simultaneously exist. Yet even in this celestial expanse, something is stirring, Two universes are being pulled together by forces no one can understand. And when they do collide…nothing will ever be the same again.

It was a beautiful morning for the Clover Kingdom as the sun was shining above the skies with its radiant light. It was five months after the Kingdom fought with the Heart Kingdom against the Spade Kingdom and the trio of Devil hosts, the Dark Triads. And it was grueling for all parties involved; everyone who fought against the Spade Kingdom gave it their all to protect the kingdoms and friends that they loved. But there was one young man who was not only integral to the defeat of the Spade Kingdom but also pushed himself to the very limit in order to protect and aid his family and friends. That man's name was Asta, a man who had no magic in a world full of it, and yet he kept pushing on, believing that he would become the Wizard King and end the classist system that he and many were born and suffered under. Right now he is doing his usual training outside of the Black Bull hideout while the rest of the brigade are still inside.

"4,996, 4,997, 4,998, 4,999, 5,000. ALRIGHT now then, let's do some sit-ups!" Asta shouted proudly as he continued to do his daily training. He was a bit short but powerfully built, with green eyes and messy ash-blond hair held back by a headband bearing the Black Bull insignia on one side and three red, four-pointed stars on the other. He wore only black, high-waisted pants tucked into knee-high boots and a brown double-pronged belt with a pouch for his grimoire. His right arm, however, was no longer human—a permanent mark of the deal he once made.

He was hard at work training him to the utmost limit by doing basic exercises like push-ups, squats, planks, and burpees. From taking care of all of his chores in one hour to running miles round the Hideout to even getting several of his friends to jump him to practice his adaptability and swordsmanship. All of this hard work was to surpass his longtime rival and foster brother, Yuno. A very talented mage who was not only a major help with the war with his wind magic and Bell, the wind spirit. But also got a second magic, Star magic, from being the heir of the Grinberryall of the Spade Kingdom. Now even though Asta has gained new power, he couldn't use it for a long period of time, so in his mind he was still behind Yuno for the title of Wizard King.

"I can't, Yuno, pass me yet!" He thought as he rigorously did sit-ups again and again.

"Hey, idiot!"

A voice, small and puny but with a vicious tone, startles Asta out of thought as he is in the middle of a sit-up as he looks around to see who is in the forest.

"Hello, is anyone here?" he asked.

"Down here!" as he looks down to see a small black figure with the same messy ash-blond hair as Asta with red eyes, sharp teeth, ram-like horns, a thin long tail with a trident-like tip, and two bat-like wings protruding out of his back. This was Liebe, the adopted brother of Asta, who helped him throughout his time as a magic knight and helped defeat the Spade Kingdom with his anti-magic and the reason Asta's right arm got corrupted.

"Hey Liebe, how have you been? Do you want to train with me for a little while?" Asta asked.

"No, I'm not here for that musclehead," he told Asta with a smirk across his face. "With that stench you're making, nobody would even want to talk to you, let alone train with you."

"HEY, I DON'T SMELL THAT BAD!"

"Yeah, yeah, keep telling yourself that. Anyway, I have a question to ask you." Liebe asked as Asta stopped himself to see that Liebe wanted to ask, "What is your relationship with Sister Lily?"

Asta was surprised at his brother's question because rarely, if ever, do people ask him about that.

"Why did you want to know about that, brother? You already know how I feel for her."

"Because I don't think you know the difference between love for a mother and love for a romantic partner. Like, do you even know what the words "like" and "love" even mean, or anything romantic for that matter?" as Liebe turned around from Asta with his arms crossed.

Immediately after that, Asta replied, "Of course I know the difference between love and like; everyone knows that."

Liebe, confused, turns to Asta and says, "Wait…you do?"

Liebe was baffled that his brother even knew and understood the concept of love and like and the difference between them. Most of the time something that complex would just fry Asta's brain like burnt chicken after you cook it for too long.

"Yeah, I do it. It's not like love is an uncommon thing to see in the kingdom," Asta says.

Liebe replied, "Well then, you're less than the idiot I thought you were," with a smirking grin.

"Well, thank you, Liebe. I didn't know you thought that highly of me—" Asta then realized what Liebe just said and angrily said, "HEY, I'M NOT THAT DUMB, YOU KNOW. I CAN BE SMART WHEN I WANT TO!"

Liebe just shrugs it off and says, "Yeah, around 10 percent of the time, but most of the time your ideas are a fat load of shit.

Asta, who had his jaw open wide at the notion that his ideas were dogshit, squinted with his face flushed red, but keeping his cool, he said with a mischievous smile, "Well, I do have one idea I have today. Want to know what it is?"

"Heh, surprise me," as Liebe closes his eyes nonchalantly.

Asta then used his hands and put them together as fast as possible, making a loud clap sound when they both slammed into each other. When Asta opens his hand again, he finds nothing and frantically looks around to see where Liebe has gone off to. Then he heard a small "Ge-ge-ge," which sounded like laughter, so he still tried to find where the laughter was. What he didn't realize was that Liebe was floating just a few inches behind Asta's neck, mimicking his movement so that he wouldn't get spotted. As he was doing this he was getting a kick out of this, watching Asta struggle to find him.

"I wonder how long it's going to take for Asta to know where I am."He thought as he snickered to himself. "Probably going to take at least a couple of minutes at least."

Those thoughts will be immediately proved when Asta left his hand immediately behind his neck to try to grab Liebe. Shocked by that action, Liebe barely moves out of the way of Asta's hand and flies past Asta's face to get away from him. So Asta moved from his sit-up position and put on a white shirt with the sleeves rolled up and the collar straightened upward. He also put on his leather armguard that covered all of the right arm except for his fingers and lastly put on his black bull rope by putting it on his left shoulder and putting the red cord around his neck. When he was finished with that, he sprinted to where Liebe was to try and fail to capture him. All the while, Liebe was making faces and dodging his brother as they headed into the forest.

"YOU GOT TO DO BETTER THAN THAT, ASTA!" Liebe says, shouting at him while dodging all of Asta's capture attempts.

"DON'T YOU WORRY BECAUSE I'M!" as he hit his face on a tree when Liebe dodged him. "NOT!" again. "DONE!" again. "YET! And again, as Asta continued on, not giving up by any means necessary.

Liebe, bored of his adopted brother's fruitless attempts, told Asta, "This is pointless, Asta. Can't you see that this is not going to work?" But Asta, stubborn as he is, refused to give up even if it was pointless.

So when he was not looking, he accidentally bumped into a tree branch. When that happened, it gave Asta the chance to reach Liebe as he jumped to him with his arms stretched out.

"I got you NOW!" Asta shouted as he was about to catch his brother. But then he saw his brother have a wide smile on his face, which made him confused until Liebe disappeared right before his hands could grab him, making him fall face-first into the cold dirt.

"Ughhhh," Asta groaned as he pulled himself off from the ground and removed the dirt from his face. He tried looking to see where Liebe could have gone for a few minutes until he figured that Liebe probably went back into the grimoire to hide away from Asta. With a sigh, Asta walked and sat down by a tree to catch his breath and to think about what Liebe said about Sister Lily.

He always thought that because she was one of the very few people that didn't treat him like dirt when he was growing up. Sister Lily took care of him, and she, Yuno, Father Orsi, and the rest of the orphans made him feel like he belonged. So because of that, he thought that he "loved" Sister Lily to the point of marrying her when he became the wizard King, but now with Liebe questioning that, it made Asta realize that his "love" for her was just like how a child loves their mother, and he mistook it for romantic love. But now it makes him question love and if he'll ever find love because, for all of his achievements, he wasn't the type of guy many women would fall in love with, at least from his perspective.

"Probably Rebecca or Mimosa." Asta thought, but it was highly unlikely, thinking that they would want a smart man to take care of them, and he wasn't that, so it wouldn't work.

"Or maybe Sally… Yeah, probably not in a thousand years, heh."

The only person that Asta thought of was Noelle because they live together, work together, and fight together, and she was always by his side when things got tough. But he always thought that she was a close friend and nothing more, and the many times she blasted him with water magic or hit him directly made him think that she also thought that he was also a really close friend, even though that was far from the truth.

"Maybe I won't be able to find love after all, maybe I'll end up being alone for my entire life-Who know!? But there is one thing I do know is that I'm not giving up, not now, not ever! I'll keep fighting, keep pushing on with everything I have until I become The wizard king. Do you hear me world just try and stop me. Even if it takes everything that I have–nothing is holding me back! Ha! Just watch me, I'll make it happen." Asta shouted to the sky with conviction because he will continue on with his dream as he dares fate to just try to stop him, knowing that it will use everything the world has to offer to push him down. But as he was laughing to himself, he noticed a cave to the left of him that had many flowers all around the cave and the ground with a vibrant pink color to them.

"Huh, I've never seen this cave with so many flowers before. Maybe it was a magic dungeon we hadn't seen before. Asta said with intrigue in his mind. "Maybe I should report this to Captain Yami and see what he and the other captains plan to do with this cave.

But then Asta had an idea: since the cave is not that large, it won't be an issue to just take care of it by himself. He was already here, so why not just deal with it right now so it won't be a problem later? After thinking about it for a little while, he decided to do it, so he walked to the cave entrance to see what treasures lay inside of the cave.

"I wonder what treasures lie beyond here? Oh, maybe a new sword I can wield or some badass new gear that will be awesome, I can't wait to see!" Asta says with stars in his eyes, and he rushes to see what lies deeper in the caves.

But as he goes deeper, he realizes that even though he has been running for a minute, it keeps going on and on and on like it was a never-ending cave, so he starts to get a little bit worried. Then when he turned back, the forest from outside was so far away that it looked like a small speck from Asta's point of view. Now he was worried about this cave. "Just what is this cave, and why is it so long?" he thought as he turned back and, putting his worries to the side, pushed onward to the cave. After an hour of running, light was breaking through as he smiled and rushed to see what the light was, and when he got there, he was absolutely mesmerized by what he saw.

The cave was covered in tons and tons of crystals different in both shape and size. From large to small, wide to thin, and fragile to sturdy, there was no limit to how the crystals looked to one another. The colors from the crystal were also different from red, blue, green, purple, orange, cyan, crimson, and so much more, each one of them shining brightly in the cavern. Then there were also the same flowers outside the caves that covered the walls of the cave with other plants as well.

The place was a feast for eyes for anyone, and Asta was gobbled up by the scenery like it was real food, just overjoyed to be the first one to find something like this and in the middle of nowhere, no less.

"I can't wait to see what the cave has to offer!" Asta thought as he ran throughout the cave, checking every nook and cranny to see if there was any treasure left around here that he could find and bring to the hideout. But sadly he could find nothing of value in this cave, so he thought of taking a piece of one of the crystals to see if there were any magical properties in them. Just when he was about to grab a crystal shard, he heard a sound.

"Grrrrrrr."

It wasn't loud, but it was there—the low scrape of something moving, hunting like an animal stalking its prey. Asta turned. In the blackness, two small piercing yellow eyes glowed, unblinking, fixed on him. For a heartbeat, neither moved as they stared at each other seeing who would react first. Then, from the darkness, it stepped forward. First came the tusks, slick with the dark, dripping red. Then the rest of the body came out, muscles twitching beneath fur as black as volcanic rock. It resembled a Boar—but wrong, twisted even. The marking that covered its fur pulsed like veins filled with blood, and it had a strange, runic symbol that dimly glowed on its forehead.

Its fur was thicker, tougher, and darker than the one he fought before—no fire this time too, only the cold crawling aura of pure malice that seemingly poured from its very flesh.

And in this moment Asta realized—that this isn't a normal animal.

This was an evil made flesh.

Soon enough several of them surround Asta, getting ready to have their snack that has trespassed on their territory. Asta, meanwhile, was not fazed in the slightest as he got up and looked directly at the one he was facing. While speaking to the whole group, he said, "I don't know who or what you are, but if you want to face me, then come and get it!" As he says these words, the two boars charge as they collide with Asta as rock and dirt are thrown across the cave, making a dust cloud. For a few seconds nothing happened until both the boars got launched, one to the wall, making a crater as soon as it hit the wall, and the other to the ground as it slid roughly, making a pile of rock from the destroyed ground as its motion stopped, making the pile collapse onto itself.

When the remaining boar saw that they were defected easily, they angrily growled at the dust cloud when they saw Asta standing as he was holding something. When the dust settled, the Boars saw a dirty-looking book that was floating in mid air with black smudges on the front and back covers with a symbol of a five-leaf clover, but what the Boars were really looking at was the weapon Asta had on his right hand. It was a greatsword that was covered in scuff marks and dirt with a pointed end but dull everywhere else. This was the demon-slayer sword Asta's primary weapon, and it didn't take long for Asta to blitz the boar in front of him as he raised his greatsword with one hand. He slashed at the boar head, and he slammed the boar head onto the ground with enough force to make a crater as rocks were thrown in all directions.

Before he can remove his sword from the incapacitated boar, another one rushes toward his backside. The moment one of its tusks was about to hit Asta, he backflips away from the boar, allowing its tusk to puncture the incapacitated boar, moving from the lower jaw to the brain and out from the head, skewering it as blood flows from its head. As the other boar tries to take its tusk out of the dead corpse, Asta appears right behind it in a flash and, using his sword like a baseball bat, swings it at the stuck boar, launching the creature so hard that it breaks the tusk, keeping it stuck. Flying like a rocket, the boar went to one of the walls as it collided with the wall, shattering it, but was killed in the process as the lifeless body careened to the ground behind the wall with a large thud as the floor cracked from the impact.

Asta was holding his greatsword with one arm behind his back as he thought of a job done. He was about to head back when he saw many lights coming from the broken wall he made. He goes up there to see that there was a rainbow portal of some kind; it was radiating mana on a massive scale, so much that the small area around it was being warped like space itself was being bent to its will. Asta was amazed by this, never seeing a portal with a humongous amount of power before from Finral, or anyone else other than supreme devils like Nahamah and Lilith.

"Wow, I can't believe something like this was here and right under our nose no less! But I wonder why nobody has sensed it yet; with the amount of mana it produces, it could be because it is inside a cave, but still."

He decided to get a cooler look as he put the demon-slayer sword back in the grimoire and jumped over the broken wall to the portal to see its properties. Landing inside what the portal was, he saw the same flower in the cave, but it was everywhere; the floor, walls, and even the ceiling were covered with flowers and vines of the same color. Amazed by this, he walked toward the portal to see what was inside, and he saw those same flowers, but there were seemingly an endless amount of them with a clear blue sky, a lake, and what seemed to be a floating tower in the distance. Asta was beyond amazed at this point, never imagining that another world even existed, let alone being able to travel to it.

"This is absolutely crazy," Asta says with awe as he tries to see if he can maybe pass through the portal to see what else lies beyond it, but before he can do that, he feels something dangerous coming his way, and it is coming fast.

A giant head that seems like a snake head rushes through the portal as it opens its mouth with two huge pairs of fangs about to bite down on Asta like fresh meat. At the last second, Asta twists his whole body to narrowly dodge the strike as he flips away, letting the head smash face-first into the wall as petals fly everywhere. As Asta rose, he saw the massive serpent that nearly ended his life. Nearly 200 feet long, its scales shimmered red on its back and gold shining all over its underside. Toward its face, rows of sharp teeth with two long ones in front and three on each side of the mouth, and when it opened its eyes, they were pure black save for a single, glowing green pupil that can be pierced through the darkness. It scans around the cave to where its prey have gone, and the moment the eyes gaze on Asta, it quickly tore away from the wall as it charged toward him.

Asta, getting ready to block, shouted out the word "Slayer!" As the book opens up by itself and moves through pages as it selects the spell for the summon, the handle of the sword appears in the book. Then he grabs the handle with one arm and pulls out the rest of the sword from the book and blocks the snake attack with the blunt side of the blade. After a few seconds of struggle, Asta was able to push back the attack and land a slash at the snake as it was sent to another wall, but it recuperated and sent out a large hissing sound that shook the entire cave that they were in. After it was done hissing, both it and Asta lock eyes with each other as they stare each other down, Asta going into his battle stance, getting ready for anything the creature will throw at him as the snake looks at Asta as it moves into position to strike at him. A loose flower petal falls from the ceiling, and as soon as it lands on the ground, both Asta and the creature widen as they rush to each other at mach speed and clash with each other, making a shockwave as the flowers and petals get removed from the ground and go up to the sky.

As both of them remove themselves from the clash, they move around the room as the creature uses its body and sharp teeth to try and kill Asta as he blocks, parries, and dodges all of its attacks with his sword effortlessly like a dancer for a play as he jumps up, readying his sword for a downward slash. The creature is infuriated at his attacks not landing, uses its tail, and strikes at the ground, creating a smokescreen so when Asta swung down his sword, it struck nothing. Asta, confused by this sudden action, looks around to see the hazy silhouette of the snake moving faster than sound. Asta was intrigued by the snake's intelligence because it was greater than most animals.

"So it creates the smokescreen to make itself hard to see to me, and not only that, its speed will make it impossible for a normal person to track; combine both together, and it makes it nearly imperceptible for anyone fighting it. Gonna say it's impressive to see an animal do these types of strategies," he thought as he closed his eyes and stood there motionless as if waiting for something to happen. The snake, seeing its prey not moving at all, saw it as a perfect chance to strike at its opponent.

"But."

As the snake lunged at Asta with its mouth open wide to swallow it whole, but when it got too close… Asta smiled.

"IT WON'T WORK ON ME!"

Asta rushed to the snake and, with a mighty swing, deflected the snake attack as its head was launched into the air, stunned. Then putting his weight on his legs, he took a huge leap into the air, and putting both of his hands on the handle, he poured more anti-magic into the sword edges to make them sharper. When he was close to the snake's head, he swung his sword and cleaved the snake, cutting its head clean off. As Asta fell to the ground, the head of the snake landed after him; he reverted his blade to its original form. He turned around the stump where its head was shooting blood like a geyser; as each drop of blood fell to the ground, the flower that it dropped disintegrated to dust. Asta, shocked by this, held his sword up in the air and used it like a shield to defend himself from the blood rain.

"Woah, who would have known that this blood was poisonous?" Asta says he is relieved that he didn't get exposed to it, but he looks around and sees that there are a lot fewer flowers than when he arrived before the snake came out of the portal. "Is the snake's breath poisonous as well? If it is, I'm glad I have anti-magic around me to protect me from the poison."

But what they didn't notice was that the stump stopped spewing blood and instead was moving like something was inside; the stump was growing something very rapidly, and when it was finished, not just one…but two serpent heads appeared from the stump where the first was as they roared loudly to the sky, shaking the entire room even more.

Asta turned around to see what the noise was and was shocked to see two heads where the first one was supposed to be. "It can regenerate and multiply its head! Just what world can allow animals to do this!" As he was about to question it even further, the two heads sprang into action as they charged toward Asta, but he dodged them and poured anti-magic on the sword again while falling. He thrust his sword at one of the snake heads, slicing it off, but the other head, not giving Asta a chance to relax, lunged at Asta, but he noticed it and jumped out of the way of the serpent.

Asta thought he was out of danger, but when he looked down, he saw that the stump of the serpent he cut off was pointed directly at him as the stump shot out two more heads at Asta. Not having any way to dodge it, he uses the demon-slayer sword as a shield to block the serpents' attack as they push him toward the ceiling, smashing him against it. As they pull back to see if they have killed anyone from the dust they made from their attack, Asta reappears from the cloud and in an instant slices off the head on the left into two pieces with a diagonal slice as he slides down from the neck. The two heads still alive dash to Asta as he was sliding down, and as Asta dodges, parries, and cuts off the serpent heads, more and more emerge from the neck stumps until when he gets off from the creature, he sees several heads looking at him, just waiting to be the one to kill and eat him. As the heads stare him down, they open their mouths and begin to charge something up.

Asta was confused about what they were doing, but the moment he realized it, it was already too late, as every single head shot out large corrosive purple gases toward Asta as he barely blocked the attack with the blunt side of the sword. As he tried to push through the gases, the creatures ramped up the attack by spewing even more corrosive gas. Asta, not being able to cancel out the poison with his anti-magic, got pushed back by it to one of the walls of the cave. Still blocking the poison breath, Asta tries to figure out how to kill the serpent because killing it one by one won't work against it.

"There has to be a way to kill it, but killing it one by one won't, so what can I do?" He looked back at the fight to see if there was any weakness he could exploit. He didn't find any weakness, but he did find a risky yet rewarding plan if pulled off correctly. He needs to do this fast because not only is the entire area starting to corrode but he is as well, but thanks to the anti-mana skin, it slows down the process, only giving Asta slight burns across his body. With a plan in motion, he made a mighty roar and put in all of his strength and sliced through the gas, canceling out the attack while getting rid of the corrosive gases that were in his immediate surroundings. Take a deep breath to get ready to end the fight. Asta holds his sword around his back and swats down, looking at the snake, staring it down with such furiosity that it even made multiple-headed snakes question what Asta even is.

Before it could, however, the moment the monster blinked, Asta was gone, and one of the heads was sliding off from its neck like ice. It couldn't even understand what just happened before another one and another and another and another one of its heads were getting cut off like trees getting chopped off from the stump by a chainsaw. After a ton of heads were sliced through, one of the heads saw Asta crouching on one of the melted walls; as it tried to chomp him down, he dashed away in a blur of red and black before slicing another head. How he was doing this was easy, so easy in fact that he felt a little dumb that he didn't think of this sooner.

"Since mana exists in all things the land, sea, and even the air, and anti-magic erases magic. If I pour it into the legs and body then I can kick off on anything!" It was a simple yet ingenious plan that allowed him to fight the multiple-headed snake on more than even terms. As he continues to bounce off the walls at high speed, cutting off multiple heads in one bounce, the damage both combatants have done to the cave takes its toll as boulders fall from the sky and the walls melt to a sub-liquid like substance, and even the portal itself starts to go out of control. Asta realized that he doesn't have much time before the cave collapses in on itself. Pick up the pace and jump from one place to another around the creature so much so that it looks like a black cage meant to trap the monster. As the creature's heads slowly stopped regrowing, there was only one left, and it roared with enough force to break some of the walls, and it was ferociously looking for Asta, trying to kill him before he could kill it.

"Hey big guy, over here!"

The monster looks up and with wide eyes sees Asta falling straight toward him at blinding speed with his blade forward in the same direction. Pour more anti-magic into the sword; the edges become longer and sharper than before.

"ONE-HORN BULL THRUST: MAXIUM!"

As Asta pieces the skull of the monster as it hisses in agonizing pain, but it didn't stop there; Asta kept putting forward until he went to the monster itself and came out of the other side, making a huge hole in the monster's head in the process. When he landed on the ground, which was now melted and covered with blood and pieces of flower, he looked back at the dead monster as its body disappeared into purple mist. Relieved by this, Asta put his sword back into his grimoire as it went back to its pouch. "Pff, now that was one tough one; I did not want to become a puddle anytime soon. Well now that was over; time to head back to the hideout." But when he tried to move, he couldn't, or more especially, he couldn't move from the place he was. With fear in his eyes, Asta hesitantly looked back and saw to his horror the portal was becoming uncontrollable, as it was now pure white on the inside and it was sucking up everything, and Asta was in its crossfire.

Try as he might, he couldn't move from where he landed and now was actually going in reverse to the portal, but with his bare hands he grabbed onto a melted piece of rock to cling on. It burns Asta's fingers and burns, but he still clings to it in a desperate endeavor to stay in this realm by any means possible. At the same time that he was clinging to the rock, Liebe appeared to see what was going on.

"Hey, what's all the ruckusss…ASTA, WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!"

"I DON'T KNOW. THERE WAS A CAVE NEAR ME, THEN I WENT INTO IT, THEN I FOUGHT SOME TYPE OF BOARS, FOUND THIS PORTAL, FOUGHT A GIANT SNAKE THAT CAN REGROW AND MULTIPLY ITS HEADS, AND NOW THE PORTAL IS GOING TO SUCK US UP TO WHO KNOWS WHERE!"

Liebe was about to yell at Asta but stopped by a sensation of his chibi body being pulled by the portal as he grabbed onto Asta's shirt as both brothers tried everything they could to keep from being pulled in. Alas, it was not enough, as the pull became stronger, their grip loosening until it was completely lost as Asta and Liebe were immediately pulled into the portal.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"DAMMMMMMMMM ITTTTTTTT!"

As the portal devoured them whole its spiraling light collapsed in of itself until only darkness remained. The destroyed cave stood silent once again, undisturbed as it time itself had forgotten what had transpired as petals flowed throughout the timeless cave.

But fate did not forget that easily.

From that single fleeting moment, a single spark was kindled–one that can rewrite eternity.

This event—one moment lost amid countless worlds—will overturn the balance of fate. From the boy abandoned by destiny, Asta, shall arise a power that defies the laws of magi and gods alike. As the Great Holy Grail War begins, its golden chalice bursting with power, his blade will carve a new path throughout the tapestry of heroes. Thus begins the tale of the magicless Magic Knight, whose defiance will echo beyond worlds, beyond time itself.
