We arrive at the outskirts of the town about half past noon. I look at the phone that Bulma bought me and realize it's been a month since I got to this world.
Despite having the memories of 16 years of torment as Itachi Hanma, I know that it didn't to me despite it being written in the annals of this reality.

"Because you light up my life." I say, completely serious but trying to fluster her.

I hear an old lady shout at us.

then she comes out of her daze, stares at my face and then says, "sorry." and walks off.

Bulma is left confused and befuddled. But then she pouts.
"What's wrong? what did you do?"
only then do I notice I'm scowling in rage. I relax my face and tell her.
"I used my Ki and clan trait in conjunction to force her to view my worst memory 10 times in a row. That will hopefully teach her that she isn't the center of the world." I grimace, as a tear involuntarily falls down my cheek.
"Damn it."
I remove my hand from the wall and wipe my face.
Bulma grabs my face and pulls me in for a kiss.
I don't resist because I need her right now.

"Hey Bulma, have you seen Goku?"
Bulma turns around and notices he's flown the coop.
