As the dust cleared, someone buried in all the concrete moved upwards.
"Damn my back!!! I thought I had left my old age problems when I learned sage mode but it looks like my back problem is not something that wants to leave me." Hiruzen grunted as he tried to massage his back a little to relieve himself of the pain of slamming into all the concrete.
"That brat really tried to kill me. I even wonder if we are family or not. Does he even love me? I heard him saying that he would love to have my property. I knew he was a greedy one but I can't blame him since he has got that from his grandma." Due to Hiruzen using his monkey sage mode, all his senses prowess increased and he heard what Ken said about not minding having his property before he passed out.
"Oh Biwako, it looks like your little Ken takes after both of us. He has inherited your greediness while he has inherited my cunningness. Did you see him use his last strategy? Was not it quite incredible?" Hiruzen smiled as he talked to his dead wife. If Ken had not fainted and had seen his grandpa talk to the air, he would have screamed that his grandpa had gotten senile due to old age.
"Huh, I should think about writing a will. If Ken gets all my property, he would end up selling all of it for either sweets or explosives." Hiruzen mumbled as he looked at his attire.
His clothes have been damaged pretty badly from taking a direct hit from the Rasengan. He even had some small wounds on his body. He had used the monkey sage mode for an instant when the Rasengan hit him.
The monkey sage mode's main ability is to increase the physical attributes of a person. When monkey sage mode is active the skin turns harder than rock making it extremely tough to damage.
"To think that the kid upgraded Minato's jutsu, Ridiculous. Well, he technically just supercharged the jutsu but supercharging Rasengan should be pretty tough since unlike other jutsus it does not use hand signs. He would have to constantly pour chakra onto the Rasengan, and maintain its huge shape as well as the rotation of the entire thing. Too bad that jutsu can't be used many times in a battle since the chakra expenditure is ridiculous." Hiruzen mumbled as he went to check up on Ken who lay upside down nearby. He checked his condition.
"Chakra exhaustion as expected. It looks like that he really wanted to learn Ice release by impressing me and getting my approval. Well, if I said no after this performance, then I would be an idiot. He has mastered the usage of Lava release perfectly. Now he only has to develop it but that will come as he grows up. Only I have to make sure that Hanako does not get to know that I pushed her son so much in a spar. In my defense, I only hit him once in the entire spar." Hiruzen stopped his mumbling as he sensed some Anbus appear.
"The sensors sensed a large spike of chakra Lord Hokage. We have come to investigate it. But it seems you have it handled Lord Hokage. Have you already killed the enemy shinobi? Where is the dead body?" The Anbu asked as he bowed.
"Oh I have that handled, there is nothing to worry about. It was just me and my grandson who were having a spar. I was teaching him something that might have caused that chakra spike. Thank you for looking after me though. You all can go back to your duties." Hiruzen replied
The Anbus though still looked worried at the Hokage who had half of his Hokage rob damaged and completely burned off. Not only that, they could see that he had some wounds underneath the robe. Although no blood was rushing out.
'They might have sensed my chakra when I entered sage mode to protect myself from that Giant Rasengan.' Hiruzen thought
"Forgive me for asking Lord Hokage but you are injured. How did you get injured while sparring with your grandson?" One of the Anbus asked
'I can't say that I got overconfident and got tricked by my grandson who used a jutsu created by the fourth Hokage and even upgraded it. No no that would give Ken too much attention. I will have to bullshit my way out of this.'
"I wanted to teach Ken that a strong shinobi can take a hit easily. So I let him hit me with his strongest jutsu while I did nothing. You see, he has been lazing around his taijutsu training as well as his body conditioning. He felt they were not important. So I wanted to teach him their importance. You know how kids are these days....." Hiruzen made up some excuse which even he could not understand let alone the Anbus but they still nodded and left.
Hiruzen then saw a root shinobi hidden behind the Anbus who too left, clearly to report to his superior.
'Oh Sage, Danzo would not let me sleep until I tell him what was that Chakra spike. That paranoid bastard would want to know what was that spike and who was the person capable of emitting such chakra. Thankfully he is no sensor or he would have immediately realized that the chakra spike was somehow related to me.' Hiruzen groaned as he thought of the headache he would have to face while explaining things to Danzo.
He lifted Ken and took him to his bed while asking a Sarutobi iryõ nin to look after him as he went to his duties.
