Chapter 781 - 781 My Hero Academia: The Mystery of the Metal Colossus, Midnight's Tears, Living with Lady Nagant, and The UA Sports Festival Approaches.

The battle between Colossus ended.

"It was a satisfying victory."

Inside the cockpit, Allen removed his helmet after the victory.

He grabbed his arm, which had no visible injury, yet he could clearly remember the moment the kaiju ripped it off.

"Look how hard I work for you all just so you can insult me later, you sons of bitches."

Gwen – What a blatant lie. You obviously wanted to do it.

Eve – Honey, I've already gone into your treasure room more than once. I never imagined that Allen "Strongest" Walker who became the terror of both heroes and villains—and who even conquered a variant of my world—would have an entire shelf filled with scale model mechas.

"Yeah... well, you're a relatively new girl, so you don't know that when there were only a hundred people, those bastards forced me to spend money on a bunch of scale figures. It's not my fault!"

MJ – Yeah… I was there when you yelled at the delivery company because the box arrived with a tiny scratch.

"That's out of context..." Allen scratched his cheek. "I was very stressed at the time."

MJ – Mmm.

"Ugh... I think I'm exhausted... I'm going to rest for a bit"

Allen diverted the conversation to something else. It wasn't entirely a lie; he really was exhausted. No one told him that syncing with a Jaeger would be this stressful.

[Host, you know that originally Jaegers—especially the early models—were operated by two pilots because a single pilot's brain would turn into mush, right?]

"I've survived a dozen apocalyptic situations and even the Devil himself. It would be a fucking shame if I died because of a Bluetooth connection with a Mecha."

Looking at the screens, he saw the destruction left behind by their fight.

"Some good Samaritan (mage) will have to come by tonight and do their good deed of the day..."

Erza – Oh, so your first reaction after seeing this is thinking about how to fix it?~

"What?" Allen raised an offended eyebrow. "You won't see me traveling the world solving hunger, but I'm decent enough to clean up the mess I cause."

Saeko – Unexpectedly, you have a cute side.

Akeno – Aww, come here and let your big sister hug you~

"..."

Allen ignored these women who showed him absolutely zero respect and focused his attention on the naked man in the middle of a crater.

"I don't think he'll die..."

In the end, he was just another villain and not a real kaiju, so Allen avoided killing him. Even so, that man would be lucky if he didn't suffer permanent damage. In that sense, Allen preferred Batman's methods over Superman's when it came to dealing with villains.

Superman – "..."

Batman – Nods in approval

Police and news helicopters flew overhead.

It was natural that this would attract attention due to the danger it posed. Perhaps it wasn't a threat to all of humanity, but if Allen hadn't been there to stop it, it was dangerous enough to require half of the Top Ten Heroes to stop it.

Despite that, everyone's attention focused on the massive mecha standing in the middle of the city.

People couldn't believe something like that could have been built without anyone noticing.

Sure, there were gigantic robots—both in the military and elsewhere—but wasn't this one way too big?!

Before anyone could decide how to proceed, the robot released a brief electromagnetic pulse. Not strong enough to bring down the helicopters, but enough to distract the pilots. At the same time, the Jaeger was covered in smoke before disappearing.

Many questions remained unanswered, but Allen wasn't going to answer them. After all, he was in Vigilante mode.

Among the heroes present, Aizawa had a slight suspicion about the identity of that Mecha, and its strange behavior when it stopped to flirt with Mt. Lady while fighting.

"It can't be true..." Aizawa grabbed his head.

As for Mt. Lady, she remembered feeling a kind of familiarity with that mecha, or rather with the pilot, as if she had seen him before.

"It must be my imagination," said the girl, shaking her head.

....

...

....

(The next day)

"Don't go!"

Nemuri clung to Allen's pants while dressed in a bunny girl suit. Despite her sexy appearance, the twenty-six-year-old woman acted like a child—crying with tears and snot everywhere.

Allen was caught off guard by such an exaggerated reaction.

"Don't worry. I'll visit often, and we'll see each other at school."

Thinking back over the last week, Allen had mentioned more than once that the date to move in with Kaina was approaching.

She knew it, and although Nemuri avoided talking about it, he had never seen her depressed or openly against it.

'I've been in this world for ten years, I thought she had already gotten used to our goodbyes, even though she was so attached to me', Allen thought.

"I don't want to! I don't want to spend months drowning in darkness and despair!" Nemuri lifted her tear-and-snot-covered face. Where did the sexy and beautiful Midnight go?!

"Pff, just ignore her. She always does this," said Kaina, leaning against a wall with her arms crossed as she mocked Nemuri.

"Shut up, alcoholic slut!"

"Huh?!"

"You think I don't know?! You're the worst mom of all! You don't cook, you don't wash, you don't clean—you just let Allen do all the chores!"

Kaina blushed, losing her earlier composure. "That's not true—not anymore! I've learned—"

Nemuri interrupted her, looking at Allen with pleading eyes. "Isn't it enough already? Allen, you're seventeen—within a year you'll be an adult. You don't need to keep putting up with that woman!"

"What did you say, bitch?" Kaina's veins bulged while a murderous glare appeared on her face.

"Who are you calling a slut, you perverted whore?!" Kaina pointed at Nemuri. "Look at how you're dressed! Are you trying to seduce your husband so he won't leave you?!"

"I—" Nemuri lost momentum, unable to respond.

"You dare point fingers at me? Is it worse to drink a little than to be a complete degenerate?!"

"A little?!" Nemuri stood up with her chest bouncing. "If someone drew your blood, vodka would come out!"

"I don't want to hear that from a boyfriend-less bitch with a closet full of lingerie. Who are you collecting it for?!"

"When you breathe, smoke comes out of your lungs!"

"When you walk, you attract animals in heat!"

"Shut up, fat ass!"

"You shut up, cow tits!"

....

Gwen – I had heard rumors, but Natasha… you really had to go through this?

Natasha – Hehe, that's nothing. One time a group of women disguised as social workers tried to take Allen away. Of course, they all got what they deserved~

Shizuka – Ehh, what a shame. I would've loved to see kid Allen~

Aphrodite – Such a pity… There are nights when I cry just imagining that possibility. Damn it! Why didn't I meet him sooner?!

Nikky – That's scary… good thing Allen grew up before being surrounded by so many crazy women.

Hestia – I used to think Allen was a pervert, but after living through things like this, I'm not surprised he grew up to be a womanizer -_-

Natasha – Well, I have to admit I'm surprised. Despite Nemuri's attitude, she managed to go so many years without attacking Allen—that's quite an achievement. So I wouldn't mind if she stayed by his side~

Mirajane – Natasha-san, it's amazing how you can accept that Allen has so many women.

Natasha – Well… I admit that at first I wasn't happy at all knowing Allen chose that path.

MJ – ...!

Natasha – But I learned to live with it. And besides that… there's another reason ❤️~

Saya – Don't tell me that pervert didn't even let his adoptive mother go?!

Rei – I'm not surprised...

Saeko – I had my suspicions...

Kyoko – I always thought it was strange how skilled he was with mature women.

....

"Enough!"

Allen's authoritative voice interrupted Kaina and Nemuri's fight. Both women looked at him in surprise.

"That's enough… I understand you don't get along, but this fight, full of personal insults and disrespect, needs to stop."

Allen's stern gaze left no room for argument. The two women exchanged looks before falling silent.

"Nemuri!"

Despite being older than Allen, Nemuri felt like a scolded child and responded immediately.

"W-what?!"

Allen's gaze softened. "The time I spent with you was very pleasant. We may not be related by blood, but you showed me the warmth of a family."

Nemuri's eyes filled with tears.

"But—"

"...!"

"Just like you did, Kaina did too... Don't you think this is unfair to her?" Allen's eyes narrowed. "What if she did this to you? Would you accept it? Do you think it would be right?"

Nemuri lowered her head. "No… I'm sorry."

"Don't worry, I forgive you~" Kaina started smiling mockingly.

"You too!"

"Huh? What did I do?" Kaina opened her eyes wide.

Allen raised an eyebrow. "You've got a lot of nerve calling Nemuri a pervert when you've been spying on us for the past month."

"...!"

Kaina's mouth opened like a fish before she blushed and looked away.

"I was worried about you. I didn't have any other thoughts."

"Then look me in the eyes and say that again."

Look at me and lie.

Kaina tried, but under Allen's gaze she couldn't do it, so she lowered her head as well.

"I'm sorry."

Seeing both women repentant, Allen sighed. It might seem funny to spectators watching two women fight over him, but as a man with a harem, Allen had to prevent fights from escalating into real hatred. Of course, neither Nemuri nor Kaina was part of Allen's hundred wives...

Of course, there was another reason to intervene.

Because Allen wanted to avoid reading more comments from Natasha that made him look like a massive bastard. Sure, he was one—but there was no need to point it out constantly.

....

Kaina took a deep breath before unlocking the door to her apartment. She looked like a nervous teenager bringing her boyfriend home, worried her parents would embarrass her.

'Everything's fine, right Kaina? I took out the trash and all those beer cans, bought real food instead of instant noodles... Ugh, I hope the air freshener hides the smell of tobacco!'

"..." Allen watched silently as the woman gathered the courage of someone about to tell her parents she was pregnant.

Kaina opened the electronic lock and stepped inside. It was a spacious three-bedroom apartment, fairly modern.

"Well, this is my new apartment. I hope you like it," Kaina said like a salesperson hoping to scam a customer.

"You don't have to be so nervous. I don't mind a little alcohol and tobacco..."

Allen already had several women like that. One was his doll Anemone, Kaina's lost sister; another was Jalter, the maid who threw herself on the couch to eat snacks instead of cleaning; and let's not forget Maria Hill, the workaholic who forgot to eat and rest, Natasha who used to be a disaster, Rebecca being Rebecca, and of course Rogue, who practically lived shut in like a vagabond.

"Thank you..." Kaina smiled and reached out to ruffle Allen's hair, a gesture very familiar to her—only this time the indifferent and dissatisfied look that used to be in Allen's eyes was gone.

Unfortunately, this moment of closeness was interrupted by a wild Nemuri who passed her, practically shoving her aside.

"Let's see if it's true you've improved your habits~" said the woman as she arrogantly swayed her hips.

As a decent man, Allen stared intently at Nemuri's high-quality cake.

Nemuri noticed; although she felt slightly embarrassed, she also felt something stir inside.

'Allen is a man after all~' she thought before exaggerating the sway of her hips even more.

Kaina ground her teeth but avoided starting another fight.

"What are you doing here?!"

"I'm evaluating you."

"Huh?!"

Nemuri acted like a strict mother-in-law, running her finger across the furniture surfaces to check the cleanliness.

"I see... you've made an effort..." Nemuri said while narrowing her eyes toward the kitchen. She quickly opened the refrigerator and saw only a pack of beers while everything else was actual food.

"..."

"Satisfied?" Kaina said with annoyance but also an arrogant smile.

"I underestimated you... I admit it... But don't forget, I have a good nose!"

Nemuri practically flew to the closet and opened it as if she had found her prey—but only a single lonely beer can fell out, leaving her humiliated.

"What?!"

"Anything else?" Kaina snorted.

"Ugh..." Nemuri looked frustrated but eventually sighed in defeat. "Fine, I'll leave it here?"

"Good. Now go back home. We have classes tomorrow."

Nemuri walked over to Allen and hugged him.

"Don't worry, I'll visit often and we can hang out on weekends too. If this woman behaves badly, don't hesitate to tell me. Besides—"

"Get out woman!" Kaina shouted.

"See you tomorrow, sister," Allen replied before giving Nemuri a kiss on the forehead.

"Ah❤️~" Nemuri's gaze turned dangerous as she grabbed Allen's cheeks with the intention of kissing him, but Kaina, blushing furiously, grabbed her from behind.

"What were you about to do?!"

"Ah... I don't know what came over me," Nemuri said, embarrassed now that she snapped out of it. "It was like I was under a spell..."

"Just leave!" Kaina exclaimed, exasperated.

Once Nemuri left, only the two of them remained.

Allen tried not to make it obvious that he didn't remember how they used to interact at home, while Kaina felt a strange sensation having Allen so close. After all, he had changed a lot over the past year.

Not only physically—there was also an air of maturity with a slightly shameless edge to him.

"Should we shower?" Allen asked.

"Shower?!" Kaina reacted like a cat whose tail had been stepped on.

"Of course. Isn't that common sense?"

"Ah... of course."

Kaina blushed, embarrassed for misunderstanding Allen's words and thinking he had invited her to bathe together.

'Why would I be embarrassed?' Kaina had bathed with Allen before—many times—but of course Allen had been ten or thirteen years old back then. 'That shameless slut does it even now!'

Kaina didn't know how many beer cans she crushed in her hands when she saw Nemuri dragging Allen into the bathroom.

"Sounds good to me."

The moment she agreed, her stomach growled, embarrassing her.

"Maybe we should have dinner first."

Allen laughed before taking the initiative to cook something for Kaina. As for his belongings, everything was in his inventory and could be placed in his room instantly, so that wasn't a priority.

After dinner, Kaina took a bath while Allen settled into his room. Looking out the window, he used the long-distance vision granted by Superman's template—though it wasn't necessary, since Nemuri was already on the balcony waving at him.

Everything would have been fine if she hadn't been wearing black lingerie so shamelessly.

[Looks like this time you'll be the one getting eaten by her, haha.]

"..."

Allen didn't respond. He simply waved to Nemuri before going to bed.

That night, his bedroom door opened and Kaina peeked inside. Seeing him asleep, she smiled warmly before closing the door. However, after taking two steps she stopped, turned back, opened the door again, entered the room, and pulled off Allen's blankets.

Kaina blinked, expecting to find an intruder—but only Allen was there, sleeping. However, her attention shifted because he was shirtless.

Kaina swallowed when she saw the male specimen perfected by genetic blessings and multiple system evolutions.

The woman swallowed again before shaking her head and leaving the room.

From under the bed, Bocchi peeked out. She wanted to sleep next to Allen despite being in doll size.

"That woman has very strong instincts," Bocchi said while trembling.

Allen opened his eyes, shook his head, and comforted Bocchi.

....

Early in the morning, Allen prepared to go to UA. At that moment, he noticed Kaina had also woken up early and was walking around while yawning.

"I don't see why the rush. Isn't your class the last one?" Allen said as he handed a cup of coffee to Kaina while drinking his own.

Kaina looked at Allen before blushing, suddenly remembering they would now be living together.

"Idiot, don't you remember the UA Sports Festival is coming up?"

"Sports Festival?"

Allen had some knowledge of the famous school event in Japan, but since this was a superhero school, it wouldn't be as simple as running and jumping.

"I see... sounds fun," Allen said with a smile while looking out the window.

"..." Kaina watched his profile, wondering if it wasn't unfair for someone so strong to also be that handsome.

"By the way," Allen turned to Kaina, "While I appreciate it as a man, maybe it's not appropriate to walk around in underwear now that there are two of us living here!"

Kaina froze and dropped her cup. Looking down, she realized she was in her underwear.

"Idiot, tell me sooner!"

She covered herself with her hands.

"No, I thought it was your hobby or something."

"Don't compare me to that woman!"

"Alright, sorry—but aren't you going to get dressed yet? I'm not complaining," he said shamelessly.

"Tsk." Kaina threw a couch pillow at Allen before running to her room.

Allen caught the pillow and stayed silent before forming a faint smile.

"Well... I guess season two begins..."
