Chapter 759 - 759 My Hero Academia: Encounter with Lady Nagant, Midnight's Tears, A Breathtaking Superhero Costume, Heroes vs. Villains, Understanding Helplessness.

Once his full suit was on, Allen walked toward the building's exit. As soon as he stepped outside, his suit became fully visible under the sunlight, highlighting the emblem and the white cape.

In the Chat, there were praises and mockery alike. His dolls swapped places so they could see how Allen looked in person. The girls had different reactions, but overall, they liked it.

Rei – I never imagined seeing you wearing a full-fledged superhero suit... how things change.

"Well, this is a world of superheroes."

Akeno – It looks good on you, but I think it's unnecessary to hide your body. Showing your torso is more intimidating for villains~"

"I don't want to be a degenerate..."

Raven – Black looks fine, but don't you think you need more color? You look more like a villain than a hero."

"Raven, you're not exactly the best person to say that."

Juvia – Allen-sama, please step on me, please step on me~

"..."

Leaving aside the trolling reactions from his Chat, Allen decided to pick up the pace. Unexpectedly, however, he received a message.

Kaina: You look good...

Allen read the unfamiliar name among his contacts, slightly surprised—first because this person was watching him, and second because they seemed to be someone close to him.

'Where?'

Allen sharpened his senses, looking in multiple directions and adjusting his super hearing. It took him a few seconds, but he found her.

Turning around and looking toward the upper part of UA's main building, he saw a woman covered in a brown cloak, watching him from above without any intention of hiding.

Just as Allen tried to use his X-ray vision to see who the woman was, she disappeared.

Kaina: Good luck.

Allen: Yeah, thanks. I'll do that.

There was no reply...

Allen sighed. Among his current problems were those mysterious tutors who had raised him. Because of the time they had spent together, there was a high chance they would suspect his personality change.

'Whatever, that's a problem for future Allen.'

With that thought, Allen continued on his way until he saw Nemuri—or rather, Midnight—standing there, waiting for him.

Allen smiled and approached her. The woman remained silent, observing Allen's appearance, until her eyes became misty.

"You look really good."

Without caring if anyone was watching, Allen stepped forward and hugged her.

"Oh come on, you designed this suit. It shouldn't surprise you that much."

"I know that, but I feel lonely... You keep growing, and it feels like there are fewer and fewer things I can do for you."

Allen smiled gently as he wiped Nemuri's tears away, then began to float, slowly rising into the sky.

"You don't have to worry about that. The only thing that will change is that instead of you protecting me, I'll be protecting you even more."

Nemuri's face lit up as her cheeks turned red.

"It's so unfair how mature you've become... at the same time, it makes me proud... but—" Nemuri pouted and pinched his cheek. "Allen, do me a favor and stay away from problematic women. You've become very attractive, and there are a lot of bitches out there who won't hesitate to chew you down to the bone."

[It's the other way around. Poor woman, she has no idea what kind of wolf she raised...]

Allen was about to say that so far, the only woman who had gotten into his bed in this world was her, but he held back, since it was an emotional moment.

It was a shame to end things like that, so he stayed with her for a few more minutes.

....

At Ground B, the entrance to the replica city, the students of Class 1-A had gathered.

"That's what I like to see. Everyone looks great. It all starts with appearance," said All Might, looking at them with satisfaction. Each of them was already wearing their superhero costume.

Among them, the one that stood out the most was Deku, since his suit was the only one handmade by his mother. This was because he still couldn't specify his needs for a more professional suit.

The costume was light green and full-body. It had a mask with a smiling face, green protective glasses, and two ear-like protrusions resembling All Might's V-shaped hair.

All Might even had to hold back laughter, since it was obvious where the inspiration came from. Among the others, several also stood out.

Iida's suit was aerodynamic, almost like armor.

Bakugo had grenade-shaped gauntlets, likely to better redirect the power of his explosions.

Todoroki gave the impression that half of his body was covered in ice.

Kirishima wore pants and suspenders, leaving his torso bare so his hardening wouldn't tear his clothes apart.

Soon, the girls arrived at the area. Their superhero suits ranged from classic and colorful ones like Tsuyu's or Uraraka's, made of spandex, to armor-like designs. Some wore outfits that looked more like regular clothes, such as Kyoka Jiro, who wore black pants and a black jacket, with her only protective gear being gloves and boots.

All Might smiled, but then noticed someone was missing.

"Where is young Walker?"

At that moment, everyone realized that Allen hadn't arrived. This caught the girls' attention in particular, since Allen had gone ahead. Even if he had stopped by the men's locker room, he should have arrived before them.

"Heh, he must have been afraid of me!" Bakugo mocked.

"That's impossible!" Itsuka said angrily.

Momo snorted. "Why would he be afraid of you?"

"That's not true, idiot!" Toru exclaimed, then stuck her tongue out at Bakugo.

"Tsk..."

"Kacchan..." Deku looked at Bakugo reproachfully, which only annoyed him further.

"What's your problem, nerd?! You wanna fight?! Fine by me! I was planning to take down that bastard first anyway, but I don't mind starting with you!"

"That's enough, young Bakugo," All Might interrupted the argument.

Bakugo, who was usually stubborn and disrespectful, fell silent when he heard All Might's words.

After calming everyone down, All Might grew concerned. He couldn't specially treat Allen, but he also thought that maybe an emergency had occurred that required his attention.

All Might decided to call him—but not in front of everyone. It would be strange for him to have Allen's number.

"Everyone, stay here. I—"

"Sorry for the delay."

Allen's voice came from the sky at the last moment.

Everyone's attention snapped upward.

His body descended slowly from the sky, his cape fluttering in the wind. Nowadays, very few heroes wear capes, since they tend to be more of a hindrance than a help. Even All Might had stopped wearing one in his newer costume.

However, in that moment, at that instant, the same thought crossed everyone's mind: a superhero cape worn by someone with the right bearing was capable of taking one's breath away. Also combined with the elegant costume, it left everyone speechless for a moment.

"Is something wrong?" Allen smiled as he landed. The girls of Class 1-A were struck by lightning, and even some of the boys began to question their masculinity.

"Young Walker," All Might broke the atmosphere with a cough. Even he had been dazzled for a moment. "Did something happen that delayed you?"

"Yes, sorry about that."

"Don't worry, just join the group," All Might shook his head. 'Considering it's Allen we're talking about, it could've been Principal Nezu, Aizawa-sensei, or perhaps Kayama-sensei who called him unexpectedly... still, Young Allen, I've never seen a student carry himself the way you do. What kind of life have you lived?'

Allen joined the group, though many had questions—among them, why he wore an "S" on his chest like Superman. But all of that would have to wait, as class had to continue.

"Now, we will begin combat training!" All Might smiled. "Ribbits, I'm going to push you hard to set you on the path to becoming heroes!"

"Originally, this test was going to be heroes versus villains. You would form pairs, with two acting as villains and two as heroes..."

"Originally?"

Todoroki questioned that detail.

All Might sighed, "This may be a bit cruel and difficult to hear, but in this class, there is someone who overwhelmingly surpasses the rest..."

Everyone's gaze turned toward Allen.

"Versatility, too many Quirks, too much power. To be honest, he's an abnormality even from my point of view."

The moment those words left his mouth, some students felt discouraged. Deku clenched his fists, Bakugo grit his teeth, and Todoroki refused to accept it.

Of course, some simply accepted it with ironic smiles, like Momo, who sighed; Ibara, who kept smiling; Itsuka, who shrugged; Toru, on the other hand, felt proud; and Tsuyu, who laughed.

"But don't worry!" All Might raised his voice, pulling everyone out of their negative thoughts. "You're still young! You still have a lot of growing to do—that's why you're here! Don't feel bad for being weaker than your classmates. A hero is not defined by the type of Quirk they have, but by the size of their heart and the strength of their soul! Remember—go beyond, PLUS ULTRA!"

As expected, just a few words from All Might were enough to inspire all the students in the class.

'I'll surpass him!' Bakugo thought.

'I won't fall behind!' Deku thought.

'I'll prove that I'm not inferior to you!' Todoroki thought.

....

"This is insane..." Kaminari gasped as he stared at the screen in the control room.

On it, Allen could be seen floating ten meters above the ground, arms crossed, in the middle of Zone B.

There were many more screens, showing half of Class 1-A scattered throughout the area.

The other half was in the monitoring room, watching.

The test was simple. Allen would be the only villain, and the objective was to stop him—defeat him at all costs.

All Might opened his mouth with a smile.

"Heroes! At this moment, a very powerful villain has appeared! You have only ten minutes—if you manage to protect at least one civilian for that time, the heroes win. Of course, if you defeat the villain, that will also count as your victory!"

All Might believed that, given Allen's strength, half of Class 1-A would be necessary to restrain him, including the top students.

"Young Walker, can you hear me?" All Might's voice was transmitted through speakers across Ground B.

Allen nodded on the screen.

"In your case, your mission is the following: there are ten mannequins in Ground B. Each one represents an innocent civilian. Your mission is to eliminate them!"

The students' faces in the control room turned pale. If this weren't a test, it would be chilling. This wasn't stopping a robbery, nor defeating a random villain—it was preventing civilians from being killed when that was the villain's explicit goal.

"What are you so surprised about?" All Might said in a grave voice. "Villains who only seek to kill exist. You'd better prepare yourselves—you will see this in the future, and it won't be a classmate pretending!"

The door to the monitoring room burst open.

"All Might-sensei, is this test fair?!" Midnight exclaimed. She had come as soon as she heard about the change in All Might's class.

"Kayama-sensei, normally I would like to raise the young with patience and understanding, as has been done for decades. However, the world is changing, and Allen's arrival puts his classmates at a disadvantage..."

"But—" Nemuri clenched her fists.

"Besides, I don't want Allen to fight alone."

Nemuri's eyes widened. So did the students'.

"Young Walker has terrifying potential, and that will isolate him. That's why I want everyone to push themselves to reach his back..."

"All Might, you..." Nemuri was left speechless. She hadn't expected him to think so deeply about Allen.

"Of course, I'm also doing this so these young ones understand something that every hero must face..."

Everyone held their breath, waiting for All Might's words.

"Helplessness..."

....

Allen remained with his eyes closed, the only sound around him being his cape fluttering in the wind.

Soon, mannequins appeared everywhere.

These mannequins had sensors that simulated damage, allowing them to determine when a person would lose their life.

In the control room, everyone could see the "vital signs" of the ten mannequins.

The wind stopped, filling everything with tension.

Nezu watched from his office. Lady Nagant observed from a UA building. Aizawa and other teachers were also watching through various devices. Even some privileged upperclassmen, like the UA Big Three, were observing with interest.

This was abnormal attention for a first-year class, but it had justification. Since All Might, there had never been someone so far outside the norm as this young man.

And just as the tension reached its limit, a sharp beep echoed throughout Ground B.

....

'Now! One For All 5%!'

Deku activated his Quirk and ran toward one of the mannequins closest to Allen. He grabbed it and ran, leaving a trail of electricity behind him. As he did, he looked back and noticed that Allen still hadn't moved.

On the opposite side, Iida did the same.

'He's not moving!' Iida thought as he accelerated away from the area. 'It doesn't matter—this gives us an advantage!'

Before the test began, the hero team had time to create a plan. At Deku's suggestion, they would use the fastest students to move the nearest "civilians" away, while those with the greatest combat power would focus on stopping Allen.

"What is he thinking?" Toru asked from the monitoring room. Unfortunately, she hadn't been selected for this test.

"HAHAHA!"

Bakugo's shrill, vulgar laughter echoed across the screens as he propelled himself toward Allen with explosions.

"IF YOU WANNA LOOK COOL, DO IT IN THE INFIRMARY! DIE!"

Bakugo extended his right hand and removed the safety from his grenade gauntlets.

A massive explosion resounded throughout the area as Allen was swallowed by it.

"I told you, I'm stronger!" Bakugo laughed with delight for a moment.

"hahaha—"

Bakugo's laughter stopped short. As the fire and smoke cleared, an unmistakable symbol appeared engraved on a metal plate—and the white cape was still fluttering, without a single scratch.

"Impo—"

Cutting off Bakugo's words, Allen opened his eyes. The beautiful irises that once seemed to contain light now shone with a cold gleam.

They saw it. They understood it. They felt it.

The Allen they all knew had disappeared. At that moment, he no longer looked like an attractive bad boy or a smiling and kind guy

"You..." Bakugo began trembling without realizing it.

"..." Allen vanished and flew past him, ignoring Bakugo entirely.

"...?!" Bakugo couldn't react.

"Damn it!" Deku shouted, because Allen was heading straight for him.

"This guy is ignoring the rest of the mannequins..." Todoroki exclaimed as he made his move. "I won't let you—"

A massive iceberg burst out from a street toward Allen. This terrifying Quirk was incredible to all observers—worthy of being Endeavor's son.

Seeing the ice approach at high speed, Allen responded with even more speed.

His eyes lit up with a red flash, and his heat vision sliced the iceberg in half with terrifying ease.

"...!" Todoroki stared in shock at the glowing cut running down the middle of the street. His ice couldn't withstand the heat for even a moment.

Allen didn't attack Todoroki. Instead, he flew straight toward Deku.

"I have to do something!" Deku shouted. He knew his body couldn't handle more than five percent, but—

'I can't disappoint All Might. One For All, 10%!'

Deku's speed increased, leaving a trail of light behind him.

"Urgh!" Deku endured the pain in his muscles and kept running. 'Just ten minutes!'

If he endured that long, they would win—but reality is cruel.

"Impressive... but you won't be able to protect anything"

Allen's voice came from Deku's left, leaving him stunned.

"A—"

Without any mercy, Allen snatched the mannequin from Deku's arms.

"No!" Deku trembled. It might have been a mannequin, but it represented a civilian.

"You're a weak hero..." Allen kicked Deku in the stomach, making him spit blood as he was hurled through a building, nearly taken out of the fight.

Ten minutes?

In just five seconds from the moment Allen moved, he took a civilian, passing through three of the students with the greatest potential.

Everyone stared in disbelief, including professional heroes—and All Might himself.

What most of them hadn't understood was that the greatest hero of all could become the most terrifying and chilling villain.

Allen raised his hand, holding the mannequin by the neck.

"This is helplessness..."

This was Allen Walker.
