Jinhoo said nothing, just watched coldly as Lady Lin wiped her tears.
Lady Lin cried for a while, but didn't see Jinhoo coming over to comfort her, or hugging her while saying 'Mother, I know I'm wrong' or anything like that.
Suddenly feeling something was wrong, she peeked through her fingers and saw Jinhoo standing there, watching her.
He didn't look moved, but rather disappointed.
Feeling guilty, she followed Jinhoo's gaze and saw the uneaten food on the table. She realized she was in trouble.
Hurriedly explaining, she said, "The past few days I really couldn't eat, but knowing you returned with your old aunt and the others, I was so happy that I made some good food——"
As she spoke, she rushed forward to tidy up, saying, "I'll clean up right now, you sit down, I'll boil two eggs for you, with lots of brown sugar, okay?"
Jinhoo stopped her: "No need, I'll just say a couple of things and leave. You can keep the eggs for yourself!"
