"It's alive."
In the "stream" of Dreamland Park, Mimiko Kappa climbed ashore damply and took a long breath.
The so-called stream is actually a water attraction in the park, a space provided for visitors to ride boats around.
Standing by the shore, wiping her face like a cat, Mimiko belatedly felt a gaze from afar watching her.
She lifted her head only to discover at the end of the stream, a little boy dressed in a short-sleeve shirt and dungarees was standing.
The boy sported a lively rabbit head, with vivid red eyes full of intimidation. He held a red fire axe and by his side lay a somewhat battered, seemingly very heavy brass box; several red-eyed crows cawed, flying and hovering around him.
"He looks... so strong!"
Mimiko was shaken by the formidable aura emanating from the boy, and her body shivered unconsciously.
He was truly strong, she felt he could effortlessly shatter her high-defense shell she took pride in with one axe blow.
