'Who's he?'
Will Sutherland first saw and melted in first glance. Maybe every player around him is just a shadow pass by. He only settled his plain eyes on someone, who's been one of them. The sudden flow of wind let Sutherland breathe differently. Even if he has to put the dignity on someone's fate, he would have willingly put the hands in hand. The sake of the first beginning mercy barely shows its importance.
"I know my father is a dangerous guy. How can he say that to me? If he has no interest, he can reject me. Straightly. But no, he- he went on me differently. He told me to focus on CRICKET. No way, dude." Will Sutherland has shown a lot of frustration after hearing from his beloved one. Richardson, on the other hand, had no choice but to calm him down. He was sure about the rejection, as Edwards is a junior and everyone should focus on the work at their age. He was thinking that when he was at their age, he never even looked at someone. But the juniors are literally out of limits. As per Sutherland's temper, he thinks he is not letting the matter go so easily. He even knows his father, how strict he is for him. Never ever did he get the pamper from his dad. Richardson was praying that his father might not know about it. Or else, Sutherland will be finished.
First of all, the bbl isn't going good for Renegades, how it should be. Second of all, Sutherland is wasting his time behind his crush rather than doing the practice session. Third of all, he crossed the limit, telling him and Moises Henriques knows the matter. Moises Henriques is the connector of the CA Board. If he tells his father, who's the former CEO of the CA board, about the affairs Sutherland is doing here, confirming he will be killed alive. Richardson, holding his head, thinking about all those. He feels he got more frustrated than Sutherland. Dammit!
Maybe a few years ago, he met the person, he completely fell in love with. Even after knowing he is not allowed from home. He does not know the guy, with whom, his parents prepared he wedding. But yet with his desperate patience, he is waiting outside of the ground.
'Can I get your number?'
He asked when he found Jack Edwards was making his movements outside of the ground. His sudden voice shook Edwards. He looked back from his shoulder and says, 'Will?!'

Will Sutherland faces Jack Edwards when he turns his face aside. Got a huge shock. Smith and Richardson told him to wait here for them, as they would clear the matter to him. Their feedback threw him down while mumbling the words- it would be end. He made his mind stone alike, not to be broken so easily. As it was simply compared to glass. He shielded the part. Bravely.
Suddenly, his memories threw him back. How he acted at the very biggening. He saw someone is taking the seat before him. He missed the gaze over him. He didn'tmind. If he got a chance today he would never move his staring off.
He didn't say no. He didn't say yes, either-- some words always kept his desires up. 811 days and still counting since he told what his heart asked him. He never called him. Yes, he got a few of his replies. But he never bothered him.
'Will, you-' 'Please. I promise I won't disturb you anymore.' He requested the way back then. 'Ah. Okay.' The reply raised his expectation in a higher level. He smiled widely. He literally ran wild from the ground to his hotel after getting his number. He didn't pant or need a water. He quickly added him and changed his own nickname. He doesn't want to remember how insane he acted then.
Someone's waiting...
Sutherland leans off from the chair and looked in front. One beautiful angel is sitting before. He doesn't know for how longer he was staring at him. He was thinking- how amazing he is looking today! Is he dreaming? "Will, I-" It jolted Sutherland and pulled him out from his thinking. "Ja-Jack. Y-you. What are you dong here?" He puts a fake smile over his face. But he heard no reply for the other side. Should he turn on his phone and text him?
Hours passed by clearing him out although he lets him wait for two straight years, he tonight shows up for an apology and maybe acceptance. Sutherland, on the other hand, wanted to share his family problem but didn't. He decided an instant plan, he will hold his hand and escape from the boundaries if he says something today. He will never care of anybody else. He decided a long time ago, if he dies today he will be dying after watching him for the last time. He sensed how emotions wrapped one suddenly. He wished to never fall in love. Again.
He pulled himself out of his unusual thinking. He might cop himself up from the pain later. But he can't tolerate the pain of misfortune that his first ever love is calling.
"Jack. I-I love you."
He told him quietly. Only he deserves the softer side of Sutherland. His early propose jolted Jack up a bit. It turns out, he is going to yell at something but suddenly keep quite. Sutherland holds his eyes up on him and continues, "You know that. I feel sad for you. You thought I am gonna make things up for me and move from your track. But I couldn't get rid off you. I was thinking about you from dawn to dusk. I never get rid off it. Are you gonna help me now or let me be in the previous place?"
Jack was noticing him. Re-matching his each behaviours with the words Smith once told him. He knew someone's waiting for him. And he has not special feedback for the man sitting before him, struggling with himself. He gently touches his hand and moved at his side. Sutherland looked at him strangely. "Will, I am sorry to let you wait for a long time. You are right to think what I actually thought. I thought you weren't serious when you told me you love me. And you would going to ignore the matter once I reject. But you proved me wrong. I actually realised you love me so much. And I was waiting for you to come to me and tell it just for one more time. Ha! Maybe I also waited for you. Dawn to dusk. And you showed up I thought 811 days and each day of has been completed with waiting from dawn to dusk. I am sorry to take it to my heart-" "No, please don't say like that. Oh, you- you counted the days?!" Will Sutherland impressed after hearing a line, shows little care from Jack Edwards. Edwards looks at him with a pale eyes. "Ah!" Sutherland smiles and stands up from his seat. It was his time to kneel down. "I love you. And I will be forever." He stopped and suddenly remembering something. It made Edwards laugh a bit. "Ah! Yeah. So, I've waited for a long time for this moment. I have waited for two years. Now, I am finally share the things I had gathered. Just the line- I love the way you're being yourself each time just the way you are. Are you willing to love me back?" Jack Edwards nods his head and feels emotional. Thinking- he doesn't deserve that much love.
He gave Jack the flowers and gives a kiss on his forehead. "I love that call me- Will. Can I call you Eddie?" Sutherland smiles with expectation. He found the name cute for his barbie. He instantly thought the fact that most of the players mock Edwards calling barbie. "Okay. You can." Jack noticed he is supressing his laughter under his mouth. "Nothing. I am so happy, Eddie. You love me back." Sutherland says and hugs him, "It will be more than enough. I don't want anything else." Then they kissed.
Some meters away, two person's cheered their champagne. Became happier after watching them. Thought they planned well to call him here. That's it. They got the worth.
