Urek's successful breakthrough greatly stimulated Berk and Gibson too. However, they didn't rush ahead or force anything.
Living for so long, they knew well enough to avoid traps like that. Being envious of Urek's success and being anxious about being left behind won't end up well for them.
There was really no need to rush. Neither Nick, Pat, or Urek was rushing them either. Humanity has no enemies as of now; there are no threats either. In fact, Urek's breakthrough was pure happenstance. Even he didn't rush anything, and he made it, so why should they?
This made them calm down a lot. And soon, they returned to their usual routine, helping with the colonization efforts in ways they can without overtaking the work of others or discrediting them.
As for Urek, he had a short break. He adjusted to his current state, which took longer that he initially expected since the feeling of reaching the peak was truly divine.
