Upon hearing Ling Chen shout out, Ling Yin turned around and took off running. But how could she possibly outrun the assassin in black? The gap between them closed rapidly.
"Hehe, trying to run?" A playful smirk appeared in the eyes of the assassin in black. He raised his hand, revealing three hair-thin poison needles that radiated a chilling glow.
He flicked his hand, and the three poison needles vanished into the darkness.
Ling Yin clearly saw the trajectory of the poison needles and immediately swung her Long Sword to deflect them. She managed to sweep two of the needles away, but one slipped through the gap in her sword's defense and continued its lethal path.
PSST!
The poison needle was too fast, and in the end, Ling Yin couldn't dodge in time. The needle lodged in her body.
"Haha, my Poison Ant Needle has struck. Certain death awaits." The assassin in black stopped in his tracks. The gaze he cast at Ling Yin was no different from looking at a corpse.
