I heard her coming from behind, so I turned around to face her. ´Sooooo. How long have you two been together?´ She asked me with a smirk. I chuckled at her before smiling a bit. Over 150 years. Pure love and passion.´ I told her, and she looked confused at me. ´150 years?? But that is impossible... no one lives for so long...´ She said. Oh.... She must not know what we are. ´Well.... I'm a vampire, and Cornelius is half vampire. We are over 280 years old.´ I added while decorating the table. ´Wait, wait. Are you two vampires? But I thought that vampires were just stories...´ She sat down while she asked me. I shook my head. ´We are alive but adjusted to humans and how they behave. I heard someone coming up the stairs. I chuckled before I went up the stairs, and I saw Cornelius. He was limping a bit. Oops. I went up to him and picked him up softly. He hissed softly. I kissed him before I took him down the stairs to the living room.
He looked a bit panicked at Gwen and me; we both chuckled at his behavior. I placed him gently on the couch. ´I´m happy for you two! It´s nice to see that someone cares about you.´ She spoke up with a smile. He turned red in the head and looked away. I looked at him, and I saw that he was pouting softly. I chuckled at how cute he was. Gwen went to him and hugged him softly, giggling. He learned against her with a soft smile. I went to the kitchen, grabbed his food, and walked back to them. His eyes shone once he saw the food. I chuckled before giving him the food. I kissed his forehead and sat on the other side of him. He leaned against me, eating. Gwen placed a blanket on him, and he thanked her. She smiled at us before walking away. I felt him sitting up, so I looked over at him. ´What is it, my love?´'I asked him.
´...did you tell her about us and what we are?´ He asked. ´She figured out that we are together, but I told her that we are vampires.´ I told him before moving his hair out of his face. He leaned into my touch softly before taking a sip of his drink. ´Looks like she took it well...´ He added with a chuckle. I nodded and looked out of the window. The weather was nice and sunny, and Gwen was in the garden sitting on the grass and looking at the flowers. ´Why did you bring her here?´ I asked him, still looking at her. ´She is pregnant with King´s Serendia. She carries his child, but he is married to someone else. She didn´t want to stand in their way, so she wanted to move away. She asked me to bring her somewhere far away from the Serendia Kingdom, and I thought about my house.´ He spoke up.
