At some point, our horses refused to go further. We looked around to see if there was something, but it was so dark we couldn´t see. Soon, I felt something against my leg, and my horse got spooked and galloped away with me. ´GWEN!!´ I heard him scream. I tried to stop my horse, but eventually, the reins broke. I gasped and held onto my horse's mane so I wouldn´t fall off. Soon, something big grabbed my horse by its neck and broke my horse's neck. I screamed in horror, the big creature looked over at me. I got off my horse, the big creature was about to grab me, but I got swooped away.
I looked up who and it was Cornelius! The creature roared at us and started to follow us. I held tight onto Cornelius and closed my eyes while we escaped the monster. It almost got us, but we were just fast enough to get out of the dark forest. The monster didn´t follow us out, but it roared at us and left. I was still shaken up, but we didn´t stop galloping away. Some time later, we slowed down and got off his horse. The poor horse was out of breath. We took everything off the horse and let it rest. Cornelius built the tents up and placed the soft bedding in the tents before he went into one, and I went into the other one. I sat down in shock. What the hell just happened....what was that beast....how far do we still need to go... Cornelius came in and sat down next to me. ´....are you okay?´ He asked in a soft voice. ´What the hell was that, Cornelius?´ I asked him, still in shock. He stayed quiet before answering. ´It was a troll...´ He looked away. ´A troll?? Why didn´t it follow us ???´ I asked him. ´Trolls don´t like light.´ He said before getting out of my tent.
We decided to stay here for the rest of the day and night. It started to rain, so I went back inside my tent. I don't know how I was in the tent, but I woke up at night. I got out, and luckily it wasn't raining anymore. I looked up at the sky, and the sky was beautiful. I sat down on a rock and looked at the stars. I sat there for a while before I got back in my tent and woke up by being shaken. I woke up and sat up. ´We have to go. We are almost there.´ Said Cornelius. I got out of the tent and helped him with packing the tents and the bedding. I lost every piece of clothing i took with me because of the damn troll. He got his horse ready and helped me up before he got on his horse himself.
I leaned against his back and fell asleep once again. I got woken up by Cornelius. I yawned and looked around. All I saw was a big rock. He kept walking to the rock. I got scared that we would crush it, but... we went through the rock...on the other side, there was a beautiful city. ´Welcome to The Tencalica Kingdom.´ He said. My mouth dropped. ´This place is amazing,g Cornelius....´ I said in amazement. I heard him chuckle, but we didn´t stop until we reached a house. We got off his horse, we walked to the back, and he took everything off his horse. In the back of his house, he had a big field. His horse probably ran off with other horses. We got inside the house through the back door, and the house looked cozy inside. ´This is my house, but you will live in it from now on. There is enough gold to get you and your baby through your lives.´ He said, putting everything away, I grabbed his hand and pulled him close to me. I kissed his lips softly before pulling away. He was stunned for a while, but he looked at me. ´Thank you, Cornelius...for everything.´ I thanked him before i went to explore my new house.
