Chapter 16 - Chapter 16: Tables have turned

Bob's group where hesitant to attack the moment they saw two extra students appear to support Kieran though Bob saw them he didn't expect them to involve themselves in this matter and was a little bit wary of them since they had high ability levels. Jack had an ability level five while Nathan had an ability level four though his group was mostly made of level three and level two ability users Bob been the sole ability level four user himself he still didn't want to pick a fight with Jack and Nathan who clearly had higher level of ability than his own. Though they had the numerical advantage this guys knew nothing of Jack and Nathan abilities even if their ability levels where high if their ability wasn't a combat effective ability it would be useless in this situation giving Bob's group the advantage but if it was a combat effective ability then Bob wouldn't want to pick a fight with these two. Still thinking of how to retreat without been shamed Bob heard Kieran clearly refuse help from this two as the trio argued amongst themselves. Bob sneered as he thought of Kieran's arrogance in this disadvantageous situation.

'How does he hope to compare against five people with higher ability levels than his own completely arrogant ehh'

The banter between the two groups had drawn a lot of attention and the cafeteria was now lively as they all stared at this scene playing before their eyes.

Seeing that Kieran had clearly refused the aid of this two Bob took the opportunity as he called out to his guys

" What are you all standing looking around for beat him up" Bob shouted still nursing his jaw.

The moment Bob's word resounded Bob's group rushed toward Kieran, Jack, and Nathan, the cafeteria erupted into chaos. Students scrambled away from the scene, eager to watch but not wanting to get caught in the middle of the fight.

The spiky-haired boy, the first to react, lunged at Kieran with a powerful punch. Kieran sidestepped at the last moment, letting the attack breeze past his face before delivering a swift counterpunch to the boy's ribs. A sickening crack echoed as the boy gasped, staggering backward with Kieran's new and improved strength at 14 his punch carried a lot of weight. Jack and Nathan wasted no time joining in.

Jack moved swiftly, intercepting one of Bob's friends who attempted to tackle Kieran from behind. He grabbed the attacker's wrist, twisted it, and delivered a sharp kick to his stomach, sending him tumbling over a bench.

Meanwhile ,Nathan, clashed with another of Bob's men. Unlike Kieran and Jack, Nathan wasn't the strongest physically, but he was fast and unpredictable. As his opponent swung wildly, Nathan ducked, dodged, and retaliated with a well-placed elbow strike to the gut. The boy coughed violently and fell to his knees.

Kieran's focus remained on Bob.

Bob wiped the blood from his mouth, his eyes burning with fury. "You think you're strong just because you landed a lucky hit?!" he growled. "I'll show you—!"

Before he could finish, Kieran was already in motion.

Dashing forward, Kieran closed the distance in an instant. Bob barely had time to react before Kieran's knee struck his stomach. His body bent forward from the impact, only for Kieran's elbow to smash into his back, sending him crashing onto the table behind him.

The rest of Bob's group, seeing their leader fall so easily, hesitated.

"You all should just stay down," Jack said coldly.

But one of them, a tall, muscular boy, refused to back off. He charged at Kieran, attempting to grab him. However, Kieran swiftly twisted his body and used the boy's own momentum to flip him over, slamming him onto the ground with a loud thud.

With that, the fight was over. Bob and his friends lay sprawled across the floor, groaning in pain.

Jack dusted off his clothes. "Well, that was easier than I expected," he muttered.

Nathan crossed his arms. "That's what happens when you challenge someone stronger."

Kieran rolled his shoulders and looked down at Bob, who was still groaning on the ground. "Didn't I tell you without your men you are nothing."

However, just as they were about to leave, Bob lifted his head, his eyes burning with even greater rage. "You think this is over?" he spat. "You'll regret this... I swear you will."

"Ha cries of a loser" Kieran replied walking away with Jack and Nathan

"By the way Nathan I never knew you could fight" Kieran said. "I always thought you where more of a scholar who didn't like getting into fights"

"Yeah me too " Jack added clearly surprised

" Just because I don't like fighting doesn't mean I can't fight" Nathan replied with a sneer.
