Chapter 110 - Wanderer's Guild Headquarters

Their departure from Planet Barter was without issue and the crew made it to the Trogon system safely.

They were the furthest they had ever been in the universe, and it was no less stunning than their home.

Upon entering the new space, there was a deterrent that forced them to travel towards a spot with a check-in gate.

"Wow! They have security around the entire solar system!"

"Relax, Null. This is nothing when an entire system gathers together under a single entity," Barter's Ruler told Null.

"I can't wait to see what it's like on the inside," Klein expressed his excitement.

"You ready for this Muni?"

"Wu!" 'Of course I'm ready!'

"Haha. Let's go then."

"Hell yeah! From one system to the next, we'll be on our way to the top in the entire galaxy," Theef said while steering the ship towards the space gate.

There was a queue of other ships waiting to be granted entry into the Trogon system.

Once it was their turn to be checked in, the ship was stopped for examination.

The guard there smiled and spoke, "Welcome to the Wanderer's System of Trogon! May I know if you are a part of the guild?"

Since it was technically Theef's ship, he was the one who spoke to the guard, "Yes we are! Here, check my badge."

The guard took his badge and quickly assessed it before scanning it with a portable device.

Ding!

The device let out a chime and the guard returned the badge, "It checks out honorable World Wanderer. Have a wonderful time here!"

"Thanks!"

With him being a Wanderer— and a relatively powerful one at that— they were allowed to enter with no qualms.

As they were all new to this system, they had asked for a map of sorts to which the guard immediately handed a simple device.

Upon being told how to use it, they were surprised to see a holographic image appear with some planets with their names and details as to what they had to offer.

"This thing is pretty sick," Theef noted.

Null was next to speak, "Yeah. Where to first guys?"

Barter's Ruler, the most experienced of the crew, spoke up, "It is my opinion that we should better arm ourselves since there is bound to be much better supplies in an official system run by the Wanderer's Guild."

Just imagining the wealth that the Trogon system should have to offer was tantalizing.

"Right, but I'm sure that simple gold would not suffice in an area this pervasive, right?"

"I'll ignore the fact that you called my gold simple, but we have the capabilities to procure the necessary currency of this system."

"Remember that we received some Wanderer's Points for the missions we completed," Barter's Ruler added.

"I guess you're right," Null put the matter aside, "So we're set on going to another Wanderer's Market?"

The crew were set on expanding their knowledge on the equipment and items and set off for a market planet much like Planet Barter.

It was simply known as the Wanderer's Market Planet of Trogon.

Upon landing in a spaceship parking lot, the crew debarked and were in awe of the expanse before them.

Instead of stalls and ware hawkers, there were enormous buildings ran by trained appraisers and staff.

Signs were rampant in the space pointing towards everything one could imagine.

"Woah! Look at this place!"

Null led the crew around to the main plaza to see which store they should visit first.

"I want to see the scientific equipment they have!" Klein spoke excitedly.

"I want to see the weapon maintenance equipment!" Z'oelo was also excited.

Wu! "But I want to see the accessories they have to offer," Muni pouted.

"This must be a treasure trove compared to my humble market, right Theef?"

Hidden by his hand, Theef saw a bright glow of both gold and purple.

Going from common to rare, the colors were white then bronze, gold, purple, and a brilliant array of color.

There was nothing to arouse the brilliant spectacle, but gold was a fairly decent surprise, and the purple was even better!

"Good stuff. Very good stuff, my friend!"

With that being said, the crew once again went their separate ways to look for more than just clothes.

Firstly, Klein rekindled his passion for science as he walked across a store filled with scientific equipment some of which he had never seen.

It was important for him to rediscover his past endeavors as they tied into his current use of manipulation.

If he could make his mofei react on a microscopic level, that would vastly increase the methods he could use to utilize his limited capacity.

So, he grabbed a microscope alongside other magnifying equipment as his eyes could only see so deeply.

He also grabbed the basic gear a scientist would use such as beakers, pipettes, flasks, along with other necessities.

On Z'oelo's end, he visited weapons maintenance stores that had items such as whetstones and the like to sharpen Muni's physical form.

Wu! "We should see if they have a person who can identify anything about your piercings," Muni suddenly said.

"So that's why you wanted to see about accessories," Z'oelo sounded appeased.

Wu? "Oh. Yeah. Right, that's why I wanted to see about accessories."

Z'oelo saw her blushing and chuckled to himself.

---

Barter's Ruler had no desires aside from gold, but as it was not as valued by others it was both cheap and in limited quantity.

Needless to say, he exchanged his own versions of the golden artifacts with no issue as the storekeepers saw no reason to refuse his offer.

It had been a while since Barter's Ruler had used his powers aside from a few occurrences on missions and he had to say that his powers would rise exponentially with the gains he had from this trip.

That was not to say that he was advancing his Transcendency with the addition of the gold artifacts, but it improved his power output.

To gain any progress with his Universal Rule, he had to gain some enlightenment as to what exactly his powers meant to him.

Null had already reached the level of Enlightenment without even so much as a thought about it but comparing himself to Null would only make him depressed.

No, what he had to do was follow Null's example and care about what was dear to him.

Only by searching within could one attain enlightenment.
