Finally!
It took so much convincing, but Nick had finally done it!
Sadly, he needed to sacrifice two parts of the knowledge repositories to make it happen.
It hadn't been easy to convince Nurse Alice.
Nick took a small machine out of the Sanctuary and threw it to Nurse Alice.
Nurse Alice recognized the machine.
It was a simple database with a transmission interpreter.
"Give me ten years," Nurse Alice said.
Then, Nurse Alice left without a word.
Nick closed the walls of the underground city again and released a deep breath.
'The last piece of the puzzle has been acquired.'
'All the tools I need are at my disposal.'
'Now, I just need to turn my plan into reality.'
'Only ten years.'
Nick went back to the two Shields and worked more with them.
If he had known that he would return to them several times, he would have saved his goodbyes.
Yet, plans changed all the time.
