The ginseng slice was in Gu Mei's mouth, but she didn't have the strength to chew. However, after the moisture from her saliva wetted the slice and she swallowed some of the juice, her spirits seemed to improve a bit.

Gu Mei's lips curled slightly upwards, "I can't help it, I'm in debt to you."
"I knew Da Lang from the Jiang Family wouldn't survive, yet I still pushed you to marry him. I owe you a life, luckily, today I returned it to you."
She panted slightly, "Are we even now?"
Yun Jiao wanted to call her foolish, that it was just some silver, not a life, but not a word could come out, she just clutched her hand tightly.
