He suddenly sighed.
"I suppose you know the purpose of my visit this time."
Miles Goodman nodded slightly, his gaze turning somber.
"I didn't expect Selena Kensington to still meet him. Originally I thought... alas."
Timothy Jennings sighed again, clearly unable to continue.
"Back then, everything the Jennings family did was to free Selena from her original fate, but I don't understand why you still let her grow up in Aethelgard."
This was something Miles Goodman could not comprehend.
He was brought back and raised by the Jennings family when he was eight, ten years ago when he was fifteen.
He left the Jennings family on the eve of the incident.
So he still couldn't understand some of the Jennings family's actions.
Obviously wanting Selena Kensington to escape her predestined fate, wouldn't it have been better to just let her stay away from Aethelgard?
Yet they allowed Selena Kensington to grow up in Aethelgard.
