"Xue'er, why didn't you come inside after returning, what's wrong?" Chu Molin heard footsteps and knew his wife was back, but after a while he didn't see her come in. Reluctantly, he set aside the book he was reading and came out to check, only to see her grabbing her hair.
"Nothing. Are you going somewhere?" Qin Xue thought Chu Molin was headed out, which was why he had come to find her.
"No, I knew you were back but didn't see you. I thought something happened, so I came out to check." Chu Molin explained.
"Oh, I thought you were going back to the institute." Qin Xue nodded, realizing she was mistaken.
"I'm not." Chu Molin had just returned; what would be the point of going back so soon? He wouldn't return to work until tomorrow morning.
"Let's go inside. I'll take a quick shower first. I'm sweating all over; it's uncomfortable." Qin Xue looked at the sweat on her arms. It was really hot, thankfully she had brought an umbrella or she would have turned into charcoal.
