Nat Crawford stood nearby, his eyes occasionally drifting to the IV stand gripped in Travis's hand, which had been squeezed out of shape.
Pressing his lips together, Nat caught a glimpse of the woman lying on the bed through the gaps in the flurry of activity, his heart still struggling to shake off the shock.
