"Mom hasn't picked you up yet?" Isabella Lindsey felt somewhat relieved.
"There's no need for her to pick me up now, a handsome guy is giving me a ride home." Little Clarissa was a bit shy and proud.
"Your brother Yan?" Isabella Lindsey smiled broadly.
"Yeah, he's been really nice to me lately, bringing me snacks every day to school, and giving me a ride home after school. All my classmates envy me." Little Clarissa pouted playfully.
"You shouldn't be too full of yourself, you know?" Isabella Lindsey advised her sister.
"Don't worry, sis, I won't get ahead of myself."
Clarissa suddenly changed the topic and asked, "Sis, the family hasn't let me contact you recently, afraid of disturbing your work, saying we should wait until you settle in at the Team Leader's department before reaching out. But I can't wait to find out, how are things between you and young Duke? I'm really curious..."
"Nothing much." Isabella Lindsey replied in a mild tone.
