Cherline Lindsey replied with just two words, her eyes fixed on the tablet in front of her.
"A day passes quickly, two days are fast too, and three days even more so... You don't understand a mother's feelings. Clarissa is like a part of my body, and now someone has taken her away. Do you know how worried I am?" Ella Lacey rambled on.
Cherline responded solemnly, providing a keyword, "Daniel Shaw."
"Daniel Shaw?"
Ella Lacey knew this was someone's name, and he was quite a handsome young man. She exclaimed in surprise, "Cherline, are you saying Clarissa went to a far-off place with Daniel Shaw? But didn't Clarissa say Daniel's family is so poor that they can't even afford a little suit... How could he take Clarissa far away, that costs money, you know? Besides, Clarissa didn't have any money on her..."
"Mom, do you think Daniel Shaw looks like a poor guy?"
