When Ella Lacey and Cherline Lindsey arrived, Dilbert Walker was already dead drunk, with the table filled with empty bottles.
"Uncle Dilbert, why do you torture yourself like this?" Ella felt heartache watching him.
"Ella... Miss, you... are here..." Dilbert lifted his drunken eyes, squinting into a single line as he saw her blurred figure overlapping.
"Here, drink some warm water."
Ella poured him a glass of water, gently handing it to him.
Dilbert shakily held it in his hand, frowned as if drinking bitter tea, sipped a little, and put it back on the table.
Splashes of water scattered, trickling onto his face.
"Uncle Dilbert, are you crying?"
Ella spoke bluntly, seeing clearly that his face was not covered in tea but bright tears.
She quickly handed him a wet tissue, patting his back, whispering, "Uncle Dilbert, I already know, you and Tang are getting a divorce. What was the dispute between you two, can you tell me?"
