"Mhm mhm, alright, Daniel, thanks for reminding me. Otherwise, I'd be so happy I'd forget everything!" Clarissa giggled.
Then.
She looked down and saw Daniel pick up a stylish high-end phone from the seat next to him, surprised, she asked, "Daniel, is this yours? It must have cost a lot..."
Coming from a prestigious family, Clarissa naturally had a keen eye and had seen many big brand knockoffs. This phone, with its solid gold casing, was not something anyone could afford.
"It's mine." Daniel didn't deny it.
Clarissa was secretly amazed, thinking, Daniel has become this wealthy now?!
But she didn't ask much, obediently took the phone, and dialed her home landline, "Hello, it's Clarissa."
The person answering was Penny Sullivan. Seeing her granddaughter calling back with an unfamiliar number, she asked in surprise, "Clarissa, where are you? Whose phone is this?"
"Grandma."
Clarissa recognized her voice, blushing slightly, she said, "I'm with a good friend, it's his phone."
