She was so angry, she really wanted to just leave him be, but she couldn't bring herself to do it and helped him back to the bed in the Guest Room to lie down.
"Such a grown man still acting so childishly by getting caught in the rain!" she muttered as she covered him with a blanket and then picked up his phone from the bedside to notify Wester Welson and ask Hank to come over.
But just as she was about to make the call, he suddenly snatched the phone away, "Don't call, I'm fine."
Fine! He could barely stand up!
Charlotte screamed in her mind, but since he said not to call, she really didn't dare to do it on her own initiative. Irritated, she stood up, but suddenly, his hand shot out swiftly, grabbing her and pulling her into his embrace.
"Don't go!" His weak voice carried a plea that stabbed at her heart in an instant.
"Kevin Cliff, let me go first!" she struggled softly. Did this man really want to burn himself to death?
