Rachel's POV
Hand on the gold painted railing, I descended the stairs with a smile and a playful angry expression on my face. Why? Well that's because when Lorenzo said he'd wake me when breakfast was ready, I thought it'd be in the room with him tapping me softly with a tray of food.
Nonetheless such was not the case. I should have expected things to be more dramatic than normal because it was my life, but I allowed myself to be caught off guard again.
Instead of Lorenzo, it was his husky voice through the phone telling me to get my ass off the bed. In those moments I had a real life mental crisis as I enjoyed his voice if to curse him out or to come down and jump his bones.
From my actions you can tell I chose the later. The sun was peeking into the living room through the long glass windows, the sweet scent of pancakes and eggs reaching my nostrils, causing my mouth to water and my stomach to grumble.
