She wasn't given enough time to adjust to her new situation when she caught a glimpse of a huge creature running towards her.
She wanted to run but she couldn't feel her leg, she could only sit as she watch helplessly at the approaching creature.
She look up to the sky as if trying to communicate with the heavens. "I thought you gave me another chance. I know, nothing good comes from you. you gave me hope only for you to crush it and make me experience death twice she shouted but everything was covered with the heavy sound of thunder.
She look down as she clenched her fist she raised her eyes as she calmly look at the approaching creature, now she could see the creature clearly, it's a huge lion with two sharp horns bigger than the ones of the 21st century.
She close her eyes as she accepted her fate. "The heavens are not that bad, at least now I know the cause of my death" she said to herself as she waited patiently for her death.
The heavy rain accompanied by the aggressive wind assaulted her body. Suddenly, she was envelope into a warm embrace. Her eyelid was too heavy but she still managed to open her eyes, all she could see was a massive creature covered with white fur, she couldn't see it clearly before her eyes closed and she lost consciousness.

Inside a bedroom, a petite girl was lying on the bed as a man clad on white stood by her bedside. He patiently took her pulse, his brows cease together.
"Physician Xue how is she" the raspy voice of an elderly man could be heard.
"Her breathing is stable for now, ensure this medication are given to her daily" physician Xue said as he handed a small bottle to the elderly man.
"Yes, but when will she wake up" the elderly man asked as he move closer to the petite frame that is lying quietly on the bed.
"if she responds to the medication she should wake up in the next 2 to 3 days" Physician Xue said.
"But" he paused. The elderly man detected the change in Physician Lan tone.
"But what? Physician Xue tell me what wrong with my granddaughter" the elderly man asked anxiously
"She probably won't be able to make use of her leg again" physician Xue said.
"Whatt" the elderly man said in a low shout as his hand gripping the head rest shook violently.
"Is there" the elderly man paused, he took a deep breath before saying "is there really no way out" he tried speaking calmly but he couldn't cover up the crack in his voice.
Physician Xue glanced at the elderly man before glancing at the figure lying on the bed, he sighed as he shook his head "there is really no way out".
