The third knock on Jose's door made him pull it open, and he was met with Julie's bright, nervous smile.
"Jose… hi," she waved, a little childlike in her nervousness. Jose frowned, clearly not expecting her.
"What are you doing here?" he asked coldly.
"I… I missed you. And I have a lot to say… including apologizing," she murmured, pressing her lips together and looking at him, waiting for a reaction. But Jose stayed firm, unreadable.
"Can I come in?" she asked, stepping forward, but Jose blocked her way.
"Have you ever… considered me as a man?" he asked quietly, seriously.
"Huh?" Julie blinked, confused.
"Or do you just see me as someone who's always there… someone you can just walk into my room and do whatever you want, without thinking how I feel?" he continued, tilting his head. Julie froze, staring up at him, unsure what to say___
What had gotten into Jose? Couldn't he just forgive her?
