Their banners, insignias, and representatives filled the upper sections of the structure, while below them sat the most important political figures Alterian still had. Presidents, ministers, generals, and advisors, all of them had been summoned.
The location chosen for this gathering was a massive Olympic stadium, one that had once been used for sporting events before the world had unified under a single banner. It stood beside the river that divided the major capital of Alterian, its wide open structure allowing tens of thousands to observe the proceedings.
