Deigo as well as the others were alerted. At first they didn't process what was happening as they were injured because of energy produced after breaking of spell. With a ghastly expressions on their faces they were trying to adjust themselves.
Mary ran to Grizel to check her condition as she was showing the signs of waking up. when before;
"Black witch? How?" Deigo mutturred in his breath.
"Yes, I am! shocking Right? How I'm alive? When you leave me to die alone there." Samantha said looking at Deigo with resentment.
"What are doing here? Don't you know how important this ritual is for her. You are a witch too Samantha." Vindy reasoned.
"Ha Ha Ha, as I am a witch I can not let that happen. You all aboandend me, so I made a pact to those who had given me the chance to live." Samantha retorted.
"Do you see these people with me, what do you think about them?"
Everyone's eyes went behind her when they heard. After a glance and witches and preacher were now ready to fight, as they are now facing an enemy , they can feel that. Mary hold Grizel tightly in her arms as she was surrounded by her kins.
"Well, Well, Well don't be afraid friends. If you give her to me, I will spare all of you for now. Am I not great?" Samantha pointed at Grizel.
"Samantha, you have to be clear on which side to choose. Remember you are a witch!." Vindy advised in a grim tone.
Samantha laughed again. Anyone can see that she was making fun of the witches and she was now very hostile towards them. While all these happening, the people behind her started to surround all of them.
All of a sudden Deigo moved backwards and reached where Mary was. Worry was written in her eyes as she was watching her anxiously. Deigo put his hand on Grizel's head and stroked it gently. A white light can be shown between Grizel's head and Deigo's hand.
"Capture the girl and kill all of them." Samantha shouted.
Listening the order black clothed people started to attack them. Everyone was busy defending Grizel's surrounding Mary who had Grizel on her arms.
"Mary, take her away and live far away from here." Deigo said urgently.
Startled Mary looked in the direction of Vindy, who was busy fighting. Vindy looked at her and nodded. Witchs urged Mary to run.
Mary rose to her feet holding Grizel in her arms and ran deep into the forest when others gave her cover, as she can escape. Seeing her escaping, black clothed men also tried to chase after them, when the three witches and preachers attacked them fiercely.

Mary ran as fast as she can, when with a sudden push she staggered and fell holding Grizel. She can heard Samantha's laughter from behind her clearly. She stood up and picked Grizel again. Her knees were injured and her inner self was completely injured but she was still running while gritting her teeth.
"Still not giving up? Alright."
Collecting her black energy she tried to attack her, but Mary dodged and ran. Seeing that, she was frustrated and attack again but was interrupted by someone.
Mary heard the sound of fighting behind her. The sound of fighting was getting fainter and fainter. Vindy's scream echoed and Mary halted her steps. She wanted to turn and see the situation.
"RUN MARY" Vindy's shout helped her out of her gazed state and she started running again as Grizel's saftey was more important than anything.
After running for quite a few hours, she stopped and panted heavily. She was out of the forest now and were watching the entrance of a village. Taking small steps to the village, she came to the entrance and looked down at Grizel.

Year 1261
"Mother! Look what I got from the fair" Grizel announced with Happiness.
"Child stop running! you will fall down." Her mother said while coming out of the kitchen.
Crossing the room, Grizel hurriedly went up to her mother and hugged her. Her mother caressed her back gently and lovingly. Grizel's black hair now reached upto her waist.
" What have you bought that made you this happy?" Her mother asked.
Leaving her mother's arms, she took out a small palm sized turtle to show.
"Mother I bought this. He is my pet now." Her black eyes shining brightly, showed how much she liked her pet.
"As long as you are happy." Her mother replied. " Where is your brother? He went with you right?"
" I'm here mother. I thought it's not good to disturb Grizel as she really was excited to show her new pet." A young boy with black hair and eyes entered the hall.
"Yes mother, brother told me that he will help me raise it." Grizel said and turned her head to look at her him so that he can acknowledge her words.
"Well it seems like I don't have any other choice." Miguel his brother answered with a smile in his lips.
Her mother watched as Grizel was happy and enjoying her current life with love and care. When a sudden thought made her distracted and her eyes looked up at Grizel's.
"It is almost time for her fate to turn her life upside down." Her mother thought.
Grizel now living in a small village called Drunster. Her village is a human village. On that night Deigo changed her hair and eyes color with magic to protect her. She is now a beautiful and lovely girl of seventeen years.
Miguel is not her blood related brother, as he is currently Ninteen years old. He was found outside of the village when Mary came at that night. She took him with Grizel and started raising them like their own child.
"Mother? " Grizel called out for her when she saw that she was in daze.
"Yes Griz! did you said anything?" She asked.
"Yes Mother! I was saying that brother and I want to study in school. We saw admission stall in the fair and the stall were registering the students under the age of twenty who want to enter." Grizel worded with hopes to her mother.
Mary pursed her lips not answering anything and looked up to both of her children.
