"Valoid, my one and only son. You are going to become emperor soon so you need to forget about that girl, she is properly long gone by now, 6 years have passed. Either way you need to get married and produce a hire to rule the empire when you step down. I shall arrange some brides for you to meet up with tomorrow."
"But Mothe-"
"No 'buts' Valoid I am not allowing you to be alone and depressed for the rest of your life trying to look for that girl."
"MOTHER PLE-"
"No Valoid, you are forbidden to exit the house intill you choose one of the girls I have picked to become your bride! I do not care if you want to or not but you must get married, I am worried about you living alone for the rest of your life."
"Mother if you really did care then you would allow me to search for her."
"Valoid, she is long gone by now you are never going to find her. Besides there's a demon living up in the mountains she would have fled away or have been killed by now, so please give up my son, and help out, it's hard ruling an empire by yourself."
Valoid stormed off into his room, he had no interest in getting married to another woman Xi was the only person he wanted and he did not intend to accept anyone else's marriage proposal but if he did he would divorce her within a day. Valoid decided that he was going to go for a walk to 'town'.
"Mother, I'm heading to town for a couple of hours!"
"Okay as long as you don't go to that mountain and stick to the people in town. Stay safe Valoid!"
Valoid's mother did not acknowledge the argument that they had earlier but rather let it pass as a slight incident.
"Thanks mother, I will be back soon." Valoid spoke in a sarcastic tone but his mother did not notice.
"Okay, stay safe!"
Valoid walked out of the gates casually but as soon as he passed through, he ran like lightning out into the forest towards the mountains where he met Xi.
