Seated at a small but very elegant table were Erik, Emma, Isabella, and Isabella Reynard's father.
As for Gareth, why wasn't he seated? Well, as a gentleman it would be very disrespectful for him to sit at the same table as the gentleman he serves, and he stood behind him without saying a word.
"By the way young man, what is your name?"
"My name is Leon" Erik lied matter-of-factly. He had no intention of giving his real name to this man.
Since they sat down, he had been complimenting him at every turn getting to the point of being annoying, and it was too obvious that he wanted something or was going to ask for some favor.
"You can get straight to the point and stop beating around the bush."
No longer holding out Erik decided to stop this, he doesn't like people who go out of their way to simply ask for a favor. Now he realized he liked talking to Leon better who always got straight to the point.
