Everyone was patiently waiting for the arrival of the UA students, as ordered by the higher-ups. Two of their heroines, ranked in the top 10 of best heroes, were also present, not just for the safety of the young people, but for other reasons.
"How boring..." Mirko impatiently crossed her arms, frustration evident as she tapped her foot against the ground repeatedly. "I could be in my city kicking some villain butt, but they threatened to revoke my license if I didn't come here." She growled, slamming her foot harder against the ground, cracking it.
"Remember, our duty is to take care of the new generations. These children are more important than just fighting," Ryukyu commented calmly. The dragon woman was excited to train and impart her teachings to the young generation. Working with adults in their department was sometimes tedious.
"That sounds great! And this time there are two groups! We have 42 boys to train," Pixie-bob couldn't contain her happiness. It was always nice to have the boys at her camp and live with them; it made her feel young.
"Yeah!" The small woman with blue hair and a yellow dress was the only one who shared her friend's enthusiasm. Meanwhile, the group's leader was reviewing the recruits' files on a screen that emerged from her special bracelet, the latest in technology.
"Mandalay... are you sure we can handle him if something goes wrong?" Tiger questioned seriously, watching his leader review the files and history of a particular student.
"He's not the first young man to think differently than usual," the red-haired brunette spoke, smiling as she turned off the screen to eagerly watch the arrival of the students from Class A and B. "Good!" With a big smile, she watched the large bus stop on the road in front of them, and it didn't take long for all the UA students to disembark.
"I'm sorry for falling asleep on your shoulder, Naruto-kun..." apologized a sleepy Ibara as she followed the shinobi to exit the bus.
"You don't have to apologize," replied the blonde softly as he stepped off the bus, curiously noting they were in the middle of the road, surrounded by trees in what seemed like an endless forest. "It's nice to be outside." He couldn't help but smile a little more, being surrounded by nature, far from the noisy and polluted city.
"Sensei!" Naruto had to snap out of his thoughts when his student seemed elated, pointing to the group of pro heroes who patiently awaited everyone's departure from the bus. "It's the Pussycats! A group of rescue heroes who started their own agency!" "There's also Mirko! One of the best heroines so far, ranking in the top 6 best heroes in Japan!" He squealed with a twinkle in his eyes, looking at the brunette woman with bunny ears.
"Well said, child," smiling arrogantly, the white-haired girl crossed her arms, eyeing the supposed danger they were meant to watch out for, who apparently was just a brat.
"There's also Ryukyu! She's the best!" It seemed Midoriya wasn't the only one excited by the presence of the great heroines. Itsuka also looked at the dragon heroine with admiration.
"Mt. Lady!" Although others, like Mineta, only undressed the women who were in charge of training and monitoring them with their eyes.
"Attention!" Drawing everyone's attention, the teacher of Class B addressed all the teenagers. "There's no need for introductions since you all know who the heroines present are. They've taken these weeks to be here and train future generations. So, I want you to show maximum respect to them and follow their orders, okay?!" With that last tense cry, several of the teenagers straightened up.
"Come on~ Let's not be so serious; we're here to have fun... well, more or less." Not many students were excited by the scary smile Pixie-bob gave them, but as she and Ragdoll approached, both members of the group stopped in front of the teenager who had asked her to be careful. "Uzumaki Naruto?" Pixie-bob asked, smiling as she stood in front of the shinobi, who simply crossed his arms.
"..." Naruto nodded his head, remaining static as he watched the two cat women walk around him, examining him. This worried Ibara, Izuku, and others, thinking that perhaps the professional heroes would mistreat him just because of his dubious history.
"Mmmmm," the smallest member of the Pussycats team almost squealed when she touched Naruto's marked cheeks. "You were right, Pixie-bob! They look like kitten marks!" Cheerfully, she pointed out to her blonde friend as she rubbed Naruto's right cheek, while the turquoise-haired young man rubbed the blonde's left cheek.
"..." Mandalay felt Mirko and Ryukyu's gaze on her, smiling sheepishly as she looked away at the childish behavior of her teammates. "Pixie-bob has been a little desperate since she turned 31 a few weeks ago. You know, the 'age crisis.' And Ragdoll is still only in her twenties; she is young and positive," the brunette defended her friends before the doubtful looks of the two best heroines in the country.
Returning to the teenagers, they continued to observe the strange scene. "What are you doing?!" Ibara asked in annoyance, feeling offended by how the two heroines were touching her friend. These same thoughts were shared by Shiori and Momo, who were outraged.
"This is not the behavior two heroines should have!" Momo didn't hesitate to jump to Naruto's defense, who remained static with a vacant look. As for Shiori, she had a menacing look that only grew with every second, like the fire being born in her right arm.
"It's not fair... I wanted to do it first," thought Yui Kodai with her typical blank expression as she crossed her arms. "Mr. Whiskers might get upset if you invade his personal space," she warned with her icy personality, but the cat heroines didn't heed her.
"Mr. Whiskers?! Awwww~! How cute." It seemed Ragdoll only heard Naruto's nickname, which she loved, encouraging her to continue being close to him. As for the blonde heroine, she just shrugged off the teen's warning.
"But you don't mind…do you?" However, Pixie-bob's carefree attitude didn't last. She stopped next to her friend in the yellow suit when she saw the icy look the teenager was giving her. "Well, maybe so," smiling nervously, she wisely backed away from her partner.
"You haven't changed, Naruto." This time, the shinobi was approached by a smiling Mt. Lady. "I think you haven't worked on your way of socializing yet, but don't worry, it just needs a little work." Giving the teenager a wink, she moved closer to him, finally face to face.
"It's good to see you too, Yu," Naruto's simple comment came as he extended his hand to shake with the blonde, who smiled in amusement.
"Are you my ex? No handshakes... Give me a hug!" Without waiting for a response from Naruto, the heroine extended her arms to hug him.
"I didn't know she had more friends," Momo thought curiously, surprised that her classmate was so good at interacting with the woman.
"What a cold hug, but you're getting better, you don't look at me with anger." Leaving Naruto free, the blonde looked at Ibara, who was still close to Naruto. "Could it be her? Maybe this ice statue does have a warm heart?" Smiling at those thoughts, she rubbed her chin, bringing it to the collar of her suit and lowering it slowly, showing her cleavage that made several of the teenagers blush. "Ta-ra!" Taking out a sheet of paper from between her breasts, she extended it to Naruto, who took it hesitantly.
"Mt. Lady, we are proud to say that due to your increased activity and fight against villains for justice, you are promoted to the top 12 of the best heroes in the country." Naruto read calmly, looking up to see the smiling pro-hero.
"You were right about many things that time, that's why I'm working as hard as I can to be worthy of the title of hero, like you," the woman with the gigantism quirk said happily. But she had to blink to see something curious. "Are you smiling?" "Aha! I knew it! You're happy for me! You must be, I'm great after all… come, give me another hug."
"It's no big deal," rejecting the jovial woman's hug, Naruto returned the title to the blonde, who pouted childishly, crossing her arms.
