All Might and XXV stared at each other. The wind blew gently, stirring the few dark strands of hair that escaped the armored woman's helmet. The Symbol of Peace's shadowed eyes met the red glow of the lens covering XXV's mask.
"..." Without saying a word, All Might took one step and disappeared in a burst of speed. He reappeared directly in front of his enemy and threw a devastating right punch.
A thunderous crash and a powerful gust shook the surrounding trees when the villain caught the hero's fist in her palm.
XXV spun and kicked him across the face, but All Might did not flinch. He seized her leg and threw her through the forest. She tore through several trees, skidded across the ground, and landed on her feet, only to find All Might's fist already coming toward her.
The ground trembled when the brutal blow launched XXV into the sky. As she fell, she drew several blades hidden in her suit and threw them at her opponent. All Might clapped his hands with tremendous force, producing a shock wave that repelled every blade.
The attack did not slow her. The moment XXV landed, she rushed forward at full speed and fired several projectiles from the right wrist of her armor.
Toshinori raised his arms as the projectiles exploded against him. While retreating, he avoided a thrust from one of her metal spikes, but something else pierced his chest.
"Ahgggg!"
Thousands of volts surged through his body from the cables embedded in him.
"..." XXV severed the cables at her wrist and charged. A heavy punch to the face forced All Might back. She attacked again with a rain of blows and combinations that slowly wore down the Symbol of Peace.
"Ahg..."
The armored woman suddenly doubled over when a sharp, painful strike landed in the center of her stomach.
"Young Uzumaki weakened you considerably. I should thank him..."
All Might stood powerfully before her and showed no reaction when her fist struck his face. He caught the villain's wrist, pushed her arm aside, and lifted her into the air.
"It's over..."
He released XXV, leaving her suspended for an instant, and drove her into the ground with a crushing right punch to the face.
Her mask shattered into thousands of pieces. Dark hair moved in the soft wind as XXV painfully forced herself upright and the last fragments fell away from her face.
"..."
All Might's world seemed to stop. Straight, dark hair fell across her forehead and shoulders. Her eyes were a deep gray, her skin was pale, and a small, familiar beauty mark rested beneath the right side of her lower lip. She looked exactly as he remembered her.
"..." He blinked slowly, his legs beginning to tremble. The Pro Hero's mind went blank.
"Sensei..."
That single word came from a Symbol of Peace who was confused, shaken, and suddenly unable to see the enemy in front of him.
"..."
"I-it's... me."
For a moment, Toshinori felt like the lost child he had been before meeting his teacher.
"..." XXV slowly rose. Her ice-cold eyes gave the Symbol of Peace a doubtful look. In a cloud of smoke, his powerful body vanished and revealed his thin, sickly form.
"Don't you remember me? It's me, Sensei... It's me, Toshi..." Hope filled the skeletal blond's voice as he tried to reach his teacher, but she remained cold and unmoved. "I know you recognize me. Please..."
However, he never reached her. All Might collapsed when cold metal buried itself in his chest. Shocked, he looked into the dark eyes of the woman who had trained him and given his life meaning.
"I don't care who you are."
With those bitter words, the dark-haired woman pulled the weapon from the Symbol of Peace's chest. Dazed, he staggered back and stared at the blood pouring from the wound.
"Sensei..." Weakened, All Might noticed the purple liquid coating the metal spike in the villain's hand. "Poison?"
The weight of his own body seemed to crush him. His eyes moved toward Ibara, who remained unconscious against the tree.
"You'll lose consciousness within seconds and wake in two hours..." XXV's weapon retracted into a small tube, which she stored in her suit before extending a twenty-centimeter blade from her right wrist. "I don't believe you'll live long enough to wake up."
She thrust the blade toward the weakened Symbol of Peace, but a kunai flew at her face. XXV caught and destroyed the projectile, then turned toward the person who had thrown it.
"Young Uzumaki..." All Might growled in frustration. *You should have stayed down.* Now he could only watch the villain approach the fallen teenager.
"..." Naruto lay on the ground, supporting himself on one arm and breathing heavily. He drew another weapon, but XXV stepped on his hand before he could use it. With his broken back preventing him from standing, he could do nothing when the villain lifted him like a rag doll and raised him to eye level.
"Did you think breaking my back would be enough?" Naruto mocked her, making the woman frown.
"Apparently not."
Her hands tightened around his throat, slowly choking him.
"Sensei!"
Izuku rushed to help his friend, but several Twice clones knocked him down.
"..." With a dark expression, Shiori launched an ice spike at Dabi's face. He melted it with a mocking smile. Their battle was far from over.
"Move!"
Momo struggled beneath Toga. A metal blade emerged from the opening of her costume, forcing the blonde to jump away to avoid being cut. Momo created an air pistol and prepared to fire a flash grenade as a distraction so she could help Naruto. Before she could pull the trigger, Mr. Compress struck her in the head and knocked her unconscious.
"I have to..."
Fighting the poison in his body, All Might returned to his heroic form and moved to save young Uzumaki.
Naruto struggled in the dark-haired woman's grasp, but the battle was already lost. Then he smiled, seized XXV's face, and forced her to look into his eyes.
His right eye opened, revealing the Sharingan shining with fierce intensity. Its tomoe spun and joined, forming the strange pattern of a four-pointed, curved star.
"You lost..."
"..."
XXV's body froze for a moment. She released the battered teenager and stumbled back. Her limbs began to shake as though she were suffering a seizure. Falling to her knees, she clutched her head with both hands.
"Ahhhhhhhhh!"
Her agonized scream brought every fight in the clearing to a stop. Everyone watched as XXV collapsed like a puppet whose strings had been cut.
"..." All Might, who stood closest, stared in shock at his teacher's fallen body. He turned and saw young Uzumaki covering his right eye as blood poured uncontrollably between his fingers.
"What did you do...?"
Not knowing what to think, All Might knelt and reached for his teacher, but before he could touch her, she vanished into a cloud of purple mist.
"Finally..." Dabi disappeared next, consumed by the same purple mist.
"See you later!" Himiko Toga and Mr. Compress followed. The little blonde waved goodbye with a broad, mocking smile, leaving everyone stunned.
"Guys..."
Izuku, Shiori, Momo, and All Might watched the purple mist slowly cover Naruto's body. Lying on the ground, he gave them a regretful smile as he began to disappear.
"...I'm sorry..."
His tired smile was the last thing they saw before the mist concealed him.
"Young Uzumaki!"
All Might shattered the ground beneath his feet as he lunged for the shinobi, but Naruto vanished when only a few centimeters separated them.
"Noooooooo!"
The Symbol of Peace's anguished cry echoed throughout the forest.
