"Alright," William Guillen reluctantly agreed.
He paused, then warned, "Bay King, stay away from that woman. Don't let her manipulate you."
"Don't worry, I know my limits."
Edward Benson's words did nothing to dissipate William Guillen's worries. After much thought, he decided to make a personal trip to Shannons' Manor.
"Young Master Guillen, our Young Master has already retired for the night. Whatever business you have, please come back tomorrow." The butler did not know that William Guillen would visit Thomas Shannon so late.
At this moment, Thomas Shannon had already retired.
The butler dared not let him up rashly. If they offended Young Master Shannon, they would be the ones to bear the brunt.
"It's fine," William Guillen said, his expression urgent. "Thomas won't blame you."
Leaving those words behind, William Guillen ran upstairs. His agile figure soon disappeared from the butler's sight.
