Your power is based on "Charges," metaphorical sparks of potential that you can manipulate and give form. You gain a set amount of charges every certain amount of time. This pattern might be customized, or it might already be set out at the start by the powers-that-be, depends on user by user (i.e. it's author fiat).
You can gain extra charges by completing impressive feats. Things such as defeating a powerful enemy, changing the status quo or fate of the world, completing one of your long-term goals, saving someone important, etc. These feats will give a different amount of charges depending on their difficulty.
Even without using charges, you can nullify, enhance, modify, copy, or even steal the powers of others or yourself. This works in any kind of powers, be it biological-based mutations, some kind of magical ability or bloodline, some kind of serum-based enhanced, clusters of metaphysical information, shards of some kind of being, etc. You can freely convert a power of any kind to another kind. You can use these abilities in anyone who is within your field of perception. Another benefit of this Essence is that you gain the power to harmonize any conflicting power or abilities. Using light magic won't stop you from using dark magic, even at the same time. Being evil won't stop you from using good only abilities. This applies to everything you can do from magic, to super science, to simple training.. you always find a way no matter how impossible.
You have a limit on what you can enhance/modify in a power without using a charge. You can remove drawbacks or limitations, or add new ones to make other aspects of the power greater. You can change the appearance and/or styling of the power (Such as changing an element of a power), and even merge different powers together to make a stronger one. But you can't massively enhance a power without spending a charge.
To the world, this process is instantaneous. But in your mind it can take as long as you need.
You can store an infinite amount of powers inside you.
To copy someone's power, you know about their existence in some way. So you could either copy a power you have seen in effect through your mundane senses, or just copy a power you have sensed the existence of with your natural Power Sensing or another power you possess. Even just randomly knowing about the existence of someone's power (Such as from an unrelated internet post) is enough for you to copy a power, as long as the user is within your senses.
You also have the ability to forcefully activate and control the powers of others. For example, you could make Superman activate his heat vision, and force him to aim wherever you want. This only works as long as you can physically see the target.
You can sense powers and what they can do, perceiving them in an entire block around you. With time and/or use, the area you can perceive them will increase.
You can subconsciously sense the activation of powers and their intent, giving you some kind of danger sense, but for powers only. With training, you can do that consciously.
You can create new powers by spending charges. The mechanics of power creation are intrinsically linked to the PRT Threat Rating of the Parahumans web-novel series. A single charge can create a power that has a rating of around 4 or 5, and after that every single charge will either increase that by two points or double the strength of your power, whichever is greater.
You can enhanced the powers you have created, basically using charges laterally rather than upwards, so that it will add new functions or just make the power generally more versatile rather than outright increasing its power.
Your power has a 'Thinker' aspect which allows you to create the powers you want as well as it can within the scope of your charges. For example, if you wanted to create Gojō Satoru's Limitless it would tell you exactly how many charges you'd need to create a power that works exactly like it does in canon. This even allows you to recreate other world's power systems, although they generally tend to be more expensive than normal powers.
Finally, if you truly encounter a powerful item of the same type as one of your preferred OoPs, you can begin a process that will slowly merge them together. Initially, your chosen Objects Of Power will gain moderately weaker versions of the abilities contained within the other item. However, these abilities will develop as if they were constantly experiencing use. This lasts until your chosen OoP matches the merged object in power level. This can only work on objects of the same type: swords can only merge with swords, and spears can only merge with spears.
Your power has a weakness: You can create Tinker or Tinker-like powers, and even Thinker powers. But you can't use charges to give yourself knowledge. So you could make yourself a Robotics Tinker, but you'd just be someone who can create robots instinctually and wouldn't actually have any knowledge of robotics as your power would do the heavy lifting. You can however make 'Supergenius'-style powers, although again, they wouldn't give you knowledge, just make you better at acquiring it. As a side effect, your immune to memetic hazards.
Rather than outright creating new powers, you can use charges to improve what you already can do naturally. This follows the same rules as normal, so it follows the PRT Threat Rating rules, and you can't increase your knowledge with it.
You have subconscious control over all of your stolen, copied, and created powers. This allows you to to use them as if you had completely mastered them and knew all their tricks. Although this won't give you any 'moves,' so training is still somewhat useful, even if to just come up with new ways to use them.
You can disassemble and fuse powers, taking aspects from several to create new ones, or even straight up merging powers together in whatever way you prefer.
You can enhance any power your have, including those not acquired through this Essence, and even this Essence itself. You can increase the amount of Charges you get through this Essence by spending Charges, but it would likely take a great amount of Charges to even increase a single Charge per day.
Your power is not linked to anything: No genes, shards, supernatural energy, techniques, or anything like that. It is just something that you can innately do. But you do have the power to pass your ability as any kind of Soul or Body-based abilities from any universe you have ever been into.
For example, making it so that it is detected as a X-Gene in Marvel, making it a Quirk in My Hero Academy, etc.
