The ceremony was very lively, yet everyone remained on their good behavior since they did not know what Kai Syaoran had planned for the city. After the ceremony, a large banquet was held in the Eden Palace.
Kai Syaoran sat at the front of the hall with the sect master, the Red Sea Immortal, and other elders from the sect. Music and the scent of good food filled the place. Even though some people, mostly those from Eden City, were still gloomy, this was not the case for people from the sect and other powers who had been invited to the celebration. These people made the hall lively with their conversations, toasts, and more.
Kai Syaoran accepted all toasts made to him, and the way he spoke to all the powerful people made them feel as though they were truly valued. For this, this did not require any effort. After all, he had run empires, sects, academies, and more over his long life.
Just when the celebrations were about to come to an end, two people entered the hall.
